What scientific announcements would be made if Pokemon were brought to life?

Let's say in 2150 Pokemon come true. Scientists manage to develop special hybrids that match exactly the Pokemon descriptions or Pokemon are discovered somewhere on Earth at a place we have never imagined or even inside the Earth(Hollow Earth Theory). Anyway, scientists discover Pokemon and they start making announcements about each Pokemon they find individually. What would they say about every Pokemon?
Let's make it like a game. I will start with one Pokemon. When I make the 'announcement' for it, I will mention another Pokemon that the next one will have to make an announcement for it and so on :)

    So - Vaporeon :

' Scientists have developed an obscure, new species of animal. It's called Vaporeon. It has traits of cats or foxes and they claim to have mixed the DNA of cats, dogs, dolphins and various fish so as to end up with this mermaid like creature. It's body is made of water and a thick layer of blubber keeps it warm when in the cold water and gives it energy. It has surprisingly shown some unearthly abilities whatsoever. It can alter its cellular structure so as to melt and liquify. Then, it can gather its molecules together and form again its original shape just like it was. It can utilize the water and humidity of the atmosphere to attack also. This creature is able to gather and concentrate all the water molecules around to squirt a continuous stream of water. When it is in water, its body is able to absorb water and thus it gives it way more power as its whole body fills up with water which ejects forcefully with its strong muscles. In fact, when Vaporeon is in the water, its body absorbs water thus the water travels through its veins and whole body clearing whatever health hazards it faces and also speeding up cell regeneration so as to aid wounds. The creature is still under examination and is kept in a cage as scientists have yet to find out its habits and behavior. '

So, now its your turn. Blissey!

  • If Pokemon suddenly came to life, the so-called professors would find themselves in trouble with animal rights activists and legitimate, field biologists. Field biologists (Usually zoologists but sometimes other specialties) DO NOT capture hordes of creatures to study. If they capture a live animal, they take a tissue sample, weight it, measure it, and release it, sometimes with a band or radio collar. If field scientists have collections at all, they are usually in the freezer (Yes carcasses and sometimes scat).

I think people would worry about the effects of invasive species on the natural wildlife. Would Pidgeys drive out pigeons and songbirds? Sorry for the serious response.
