I wanted to make an item that makes every trainer's Pokemon increase in difficulty. I want to make a switch that makes the trainer use a different battle ID, but I've run into two problems:

One: I don't know how to make an item activate/deactivate that switch when used. I'm really bad at scripting, so I don't want to mess any of my other items up by entering random code.
And Two: I don't know how to make trainers use alternate IDs using the same event. I've tried using different event pages that start battles with different IDs, but they keep defaulting to the first page for some reason.

Does anyone know how to accomplish this?
