Are Megas needed in VGC 18

    • I just wonder if a Mega is needed this year. Team building isnt a strong suit and I think I can find it easier to build without one but want opinions.

    • You don't need one, but it's advised that you take one as it provides an extra level of power and a potential wincon. Also, a lot of teams will be running one, most likely either Mega Kangaskhan, Mega Charizard Y or Mega Salamence. If you still don't want to take one, you'll need a counterplay to the most common megas in the format (and by that regard, the most common picks).
