[Map] Any step by step guide to adding new maps to pokered?

I'm trying to figure out how to add a new map to pokered. I know how to create/edit .blk map files, what I need to know is how to actually add the map into the game.

For example, what all .asm files need created/edited? There's map headers, objects, constants etc.

Is there a guide out there I just can't find? If not, I'd be willing to make a step by step guide myself if someone can help me figure out the process first.
