Hey, I'm working on a Digimon Fire Red hack that changes pokemon to Digimon. I'm only doing sprites at the moment but wanted opinions on what I've done and what I could do better.

Thanks for checking them out X

Honestly these are actually really good! I can't take a deep look on Photoshop right now, but I can say that the backsprites need a bit of a darker outline, since they blend into the background. Other than that, thumbs up! :)

Thanks a lot! I'll work in making those outlines darker, I see what you mean now didn't notice how much they blend before. Really appreciate the advice 👍

Overall, they are cool. However, I do have some suggestions:

Maybe it's because I'm not wearing my specs, but I kind of have a struggle registering the overall shape of the 2 bottom left mons. Maybe the claws so close together make it look too crowded?
More importantly, I would suggest upping the contrast on that yellow pallet's highlights you chose to define the shape more and I would definitely recommend you to practice dithering and apply it on all those sprites as a fun experiment because it's gonna help you a lot in spriting generally.
