[ASM & Hex] Adding New Pokeballs to Fire Red

    So I've been trying to add a new Pokeball to Fire Red, and ran into a bit of a roadblock: my utter lack of ASM skill or knowledge. I know what a stack is and how to assemble a routine, and that's pretty much it. I've been following a tutorial by @Skeli- and in step 2 it talks about adding pointers. Can anyone explain to me how to do step 2 like I'm a complete beginner?
