Some friends and I have decided to host some kind of nuzlocke league. After thinking a lot about how we would make a nuzlocke-like league, we came up with the following ruleset:
-There will be a gym leader for (hopefully) every type, who can use 6 Pok?mon of their type, but no items, except a Sitrus Berry on their ace.
-Challengers must choose 36 Pok?mon, these are the only Pok?mon they are allowed to use, none will be added. At most 1 pseudo-legendary may be chosen.
-Once any Pok?mon faints in a battle, it is considered dead, and the Pok?mon is lost. Better make sure you keep them safe ;).
-Challengers must give their Pok?mon at least 3 level-up moves. They fourth move is free to choose any legal move on the Pok?mon.
-Pok?mon on the challenger's teams may not be taken out of the team, unless they are dead. So if you choose 6 Water type to face the Fire gym first and lose no Pok?mon, you need to use these 6 Water types against the next gym as well. You may not change them in any way.
-The goal is to collect 8 badges, everyone who collected at least 8 badges will be allowed to enter the Pok?mon League, the finals. Details on this will come as it starts, but make sure you got as many Pok?mon left as possible...
General rules for battles:
-Gen 7 OU rules.
-No z-moves or mega-evolutions.
-Item clause: No 2 Pok?mon in the team may hold the same item.
-Only fully evolved Pok?mon may be used.
-No EVs may be used, you're free to choose your nature.
This league will start on July 8th. Challengers will then have up to and including July 14th to collect 8 badges from any 8 different Gym Leaders in order to qualify for the finals. The finals will (probably) run over the weekend of July 15th/16th.
