Battlefields of Blood and Tears OOC Thread (PG-16)

Personality: Xavier is the reserved type, not usually interacting with other people and keeping quiet. Due to not much interaction he has become very observant of environments, pokemon, people, etc. His father being a scientist and his observance has caused him to become an excellent strategist and student. He loves his mother very much and will usually try to help around the house, when father is away. The only real companions he has ever made has been pokemon, so this is the only time when he might actually talk and smile. This has caused him to have zero tolerance for pokemon abusers.

He absolutely hates people who are loud and most things that are loud. They give him a headache. Although his father has only recently began teaching him survival skills as he was going to go on his journey soon. He can't really talk to people, unless that person is family. Although he views his father more as a scientist instead as a father. This is because all conversations between him and his father were about Pokemon and academics. Whenever Xavier would ask him about something personal his father would avoid it and lead to yet another academics discussion. And that most of his knowledge came from his father.

Appearance: Xavier is white with a slight tan. Xavier stands roughly 6'0 matching the muscle for the size. He sports a minor six pack. He has deep brown hair and eyes. His mother likes to compare the color to that of her Ursaring. His hair is shaggy and falls just over his eyes. His eyes are very sharp, but calm as well if you can catch a glimpse of them. He has a small scar on his left shoulder. It has healed mostly, but if you look closely you can see it.

The normal attire for Xavier is a black T-shirt with a red symbol of Omega on his right shoulder. He wears a pair of dark grey pants to match the shirt. As far as winter wear goes he wears a zipper Heavy coat which is silver with a pokeball symbol on the chest. He wears white winter pants with self insulation and is a tad big on him. And again sports a pair of black gloves with wrist cuffs to keep snow out. And has a pair of insulated boots which have small spikes on the end to climb and hike if the chance comes.

History: Xavier grew up in the downtown area of St.Louis and partially around the Lake Of The Ozarks. For the Ozarks was where his father's research facility was. His father was literally never home. Maybe for a day or two but he always went back to the research facility for another two weeks. Xavier always went up there on weekends to be with his father. From all of the time spent chatting with his father of pokemon and his dad teaching him different things Xavier had been quite ahead of his class. Most kids around him don't know a lot of the words he would say at his age. He has no human friends whatsoever. Although the other students don't antagonize him for this.

Hes fairly athletic and is of a muscular build which he always shows of the the ladies .He has bright brown eyes and is of a lightly tanned skin tone since he spends so much time on the beach. He wears a plain white shirt covered by a green sleeveless hoodie. He wears neatly fitted dark blue jeans and a silver necklace with a small ball shaped pendent arond his neck. Finishing his outfit are simple green and white sneakers.

Personality: Definition of a play boy at the age of 17. Lots of people think of him as stuck up since he's the son of two rich parents. He's really cocky and care free and lives his life to the fullest everyday. Although he's carefree he always ensured to keep up with his school work in hopes to make his parents notice him. He uses his pokemon as the friends he never had and as a way to impress the ladies as he put it. He was always well treated so he's used to a certain way of life.

History : Kyle grew up on the beaches of Florida and was always considered the cool kid of Miami. Kyle lived his life without his parents and was always tended to by maids and nannies and his pokemon as companions. Kyle grew up not knowing who were his friends since he never knew who were friends with for his money or for him. Kyle ended seeking attention from any and everybody. He got attention from his teachers by keeping up on his school work. Attention from the girls by showing off and just getting the attention ,good or bad, by giving trouble.

1 week before you start your journey

"It's been two years since the infamous New York students known as Johanna Siren, Michael Crawley, Azi Durett, and Melanie Axel begin their journeys across the world as new trainers. But as they worked on their journey, jealously and evil tore the four friends apart.
One year ago, on February 25th, 2011, Michael Crawley was found dead and his friend, Johanna Siren, missing. Team Globus was blamed for the death of Michael and for the disappearance of Johanna. The story of these two trainers spread through the world. These trainers were known in the towns they appeared in – the two trainers that stood up against Team Globus and succeeded so many times over. But this time, it seemed they failed.

When their two friends were told of the news, all that was across their faces was guilt, sadness, and most of all – anger. Many people could remember, from many of the television interviews of Melanie and Azi, that their eyes would go glassy and soon tears would drip down their face.

The searches for Johanna Siren, led by her uncle, the gym leader of Phoenix, Arizona, have finally just ceased. 'If Jo wants to be found, she'll make herself clearly seen. But right now, she doesn't want to be found,' says Theodore Siren, Johanna's uncle. 'I'll worry about her, but I know she's alive and she'll come out eventually.'

So, congratulations to all the new students who were rewarded with their early trainer IDs. And please think about this report – Johanna and Michael have done some reckless acts, but they were smart adults. Let their actions help pave your path." Your AP Pokemon 101 teacher finishes reading the newspaper story before placing it back down on her desk. Finally, she or he (I don't care – make something up – be creative – just don't make the teacher a Pokemon) sighs and you see that he/she looks over to you through the corner of his/her eyes before turning back to the class.

"That ends our class for today, students," says the teacher. Finally, you gather up your books and head out of the room for your next class – S.P.B. Gym Class. Some students show reactions to you – either jeering or whistling in congratulations. (feel free to elaborate).

Finally, you reach the gym and before the class begins, you decide to spend a few moments with your Pokemon (but you don't know that you can only choose one to allow to come on the journey with you). End your post with a whistle sounding for all the students with their teams to go out to the gym…
