  • I know there are a few good tutorials around about intro sprite editing, but for the sake of helping someone out there, I created a tutorial and I thought I would share it anyway in the hope's it would help someone else.

Forum video not working currently so click this link.

The description below is the same on the video:

How to edit the sprites for Gen 3 Pokemon ROMs. I used Fire Red as a base and as such the offsets I use apply to that ROM only, however I believe this tutorial can be applied to any Gen 3 ROM.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I know the palette offsets for Fire Red so here:

    Boy Palette: 0046161C
    Girl Palette: 00460EF0
    Rival Palette: 004623B0
    Prof. Oak Palette: 00461CE8

For the offsets in unLZ-GBA, it seems to be different from person to person, so simply search around 341 and you should find them.
