hello all, its been a while since ive been on any sort of forum, but im recme! im a musician (and sort of artist) of some time and ive also like me some pokemon! particularly gens 1,3, and 5.
ever since i started in the art scene, ive always wondered why hasnt someone tried to completely demake pokemon black and white for the game boy. its always been somewhat done on youtube, and someone has even made a small hack of it in pokemon gold (i think). so to me, that works enough as a proof of concept that it may be possible enough as a hack for the gen 1 games. from what i remember though, ive heard these sort of games are hard to hack, so im not really expecting anything like that anytime soon.
BUT, to gauge some interest, ive made some assets from edited sprites and some from preexisting tilesets. here are some that i got:

Assorted sprites
and heres two music tracks ive also made:

keep in mind that those music tracks are within gameboy limitations. i can convert these tracks to a format that is compatible with original gameboy games. the same mostly goes for the graphics, though i am not as sure with the sprites as i am with the music. im more of a musician after all!
