2nd Gen Gold and pokebank

Ok here's a question. Wasn't the downloadable gold version that was supposed to be released comparable with pokebank? Why is it mine spent work with that or teleported?

Hi! The re-release versions of Gold and Silver are not compatible with Pokemon Bank yet. But it will happen soon, so you will have to be patient for now.

Heard a possible date yet for it?

And if I do transfer shinies from gen 2 through Pokebank they can be transferred to gen 6 or 7 or just 7?

I was thinking I might breed for shinies in gen 2 instead of gen 6 since the 1/64 odds is great. Unless they can't be transferred to gen 6 games.

You can only send Gen. 1 and 2 Pok?mon to Gen. 7.

The date that Game Freak loves to refer to. AKA: when they get to it.

I wish that I could at least give an estimate, but I really can't. It could be tomorrow, it could be Halloween. There's no way to predict it.

We will definitely make a thread here when they can be transferred :) If not then there will be a Daily article. Keep an eye out in this section for more updates.

There's no specific format for a travel journal - as long as you're telling your story you're good! :) Otherwise we have a fun event on (just look for the event tag) that you may want to join!
