I've decided to pursue a Pokemon story that deviates from the story defined in Pokemon Red Version. I decided to give the story a little twist of mine. The story starts out in the past with the main character's father, Giovanni, and Dr. Fuji.

Let me know what you guys think!!
    Pokémon Revolution

    Chapter 1: The Legendary Transformer
On Cinnabar Island, the torrential downfall driven by the brisk winter generated turbulence atop the roof of the classified Team Rocket lab facility. The momentum wake of the storm that crashed over the top of the remote facility formed downstream eddying currents. The chaotic winds rocked the chopper on the roof pad and conjured a rhythmic ritual with the creaking glass of the chopper window. Jack Burns' demeanor was smug, as always, as his confidence drove his improvised and newfound ability to operate the chopper. Dr. Fuji was eager to reach his target Pokémon in Viridian Forest to finally resolute his research. The aura of anxiety was heightened as the stern voice of Giovanni fainted out the sound of wind crashing against the chopper. Executive Giovanni ordered his scientist to stand close by and he whispered. Giovanni would always tug his black blazer over his shoulders before speaking. "I hope you understand the predicament ahead, Fuji. The allocation of resources that our Team Rocket has congregated must not reside in vain. This time around, our engineering was substantially more promising than that of Project Ditto, so we must act strongly to validate it. We will gather Mew's DNA specimen in order to initiate the Implementation Phase of Project Mewtwo." Fuji's state of the art heat signature frequency detector was his most confident tool. After multiple trials, he mapped out the 15 frequency ranges for each and every Pokémon type, with Fire type emanating the lowest frequency and Psychic type emanating the highest. The heat signature detection mechanism allowed Team Rocket to monitor or detect all types of Pokémon over exceptionally large areas of the world by tapping into their heat signature frequencies. Without this recent scientific breakthrough, the proper tracking of Mew's geological location would be immensely improbable.

As Jack was fine-tuning the autopilot takeoff system for the chopper, Rhyhorn's hind leg was grounding a bottom rail of the chopper in order to prevent high magnitude gusts from tipping it to its side. Rhyhorn had been napping to self-produce heat and negate her Ground type weakness to the cold harsh winds from reducing her health; a tactic that Giovanni had trained her with in order to tolerate intense Ice type and Water type attacks. Jack, the engineer, gazed upon the Flight Controls Graphics screen, "And we're squared away for vertical takeoff, gentlemen." The only reason why Jack was there that night was because of his overwhelming passion for Pokémon, which intertwined with his curiosity of Pokémon origination. He was banking on the fact that extracting information about Mew would yield answers of the sort. It was Giovanni's discretion to keep the purpose of Project Mewtwo hidden from Jack since he could simply trail the smoke of Jack's burning passion for his Pokémon and firm ethical beliefs on the matter. Jack would be devastated if he discovered Giovanni's stratagem after the success of Mewtwo's birth. Despite the fact that Jack mysteriously didn't pursue the Pokémon League, Giovanni was aware of his lifelong team of battling titans. So, he relished in conceiving a plan that included an engineer and a Pokémon trainer like Jack in the equation. These thoughts whirled a blizzard in Giovanni's mind as he suppressed Rhyhorn back to her Ultra Ball and declared liftoff.

Mew's ability to transform into any Pokémon raised a theory in Dr. Fuji's hypothesis, which happened to make his theory practical. The hypothesis stated that since Mew can organically transform into any Pokémon type, it carries the heat signature frequency of all types of Pokémon simultaneously. Therefore, Fuji predicted that the heat signature detector would yield higher intensity indications of 15 different frequencies as they geographically approached Mew. This hypothesis was tested in Viridian Forest, the location of Earth coordinates that reflected the highest intensity of the harmonized 15 target frequencies.

The lightning flashing snapshots of the pulchritudinous Viridian City horizon was the only thought contrary from the team's concentration to locate Mew. Fuji was well aware that Giovanni's elaborately devised plan would crash and burn once Mew would adapt to his strategy. The ability of a Team Rocket Executive to move on impulse would be challenged against a legendary Pokémon of Psychic intelligence. Jack already had his focus on approaching Mew in a low profile manner to avoid the hardship of needing to act on impulse. He also exercised in his mind, the possibility of approaching Mew without force. Fuji spoke with hesitation during Jack's contemplation. "Do you know what we're up against, Jack?" Fuji always crumbled under pressure when presented with science gathering missions, let alone the fact that retrieving Mew's DNA was his very first objective. Jack quickly learned of Fuji's weakness and growing up as a Pokémon trainer granted him the ability to tame any storm of anxiety when forced into a heated situation. Jack calmly responded, "I don't know. But not knowing is the reason why I'm fired up to see what this Mew guy is all about."
"Save that fire for the legendary Pokémon, kid. The storm has died off, so we should be landing soon." Giovanni spoke with urgency since he exhausted his resources into Project Mewtwo and knew that failing this mission was not an option. Jack scratched his head,
"Hey boss, I must have under-estimated the weight of the chopper, and so our trajectory will take longer than expected. Are you sure Rhyhorn is in her Pokeball?" Giovanni's anxiety filled the cockpit. A drizzle re-introduced the long winter storm and Giovanni sternly spoke.
"Jack, I'm afraid that she is currently out of her Ultra Ball. Her stubbornness has been an ongoing issue." Jack silently ignited his tension once Gengar's reaction to Giovanni's statement became apparent. Jack's Gengar had been invisible to Giovanni and Fuji and had been scouting the chopper from head to tail right after Jack learned about the puzzling weight of the chopper. The engineer's stealthy upgrade to his laser-free customized Pokeball allowed him to release Gengar without detection. Following Giovanni's lie, Gengar distressfully expressed urgency towards the tail-end of the chopper while maintaining complete silence. Gengar's lifelong friend acted swiftly by speaking the hidden code that Gengar had memorized in one of Jack's training procedure. Jack would face his target and quote, "You must be tired, pal," and Gengar would follow with a Hypnosis attack on the target. The storm's intensity skyrocketed and Fuji jumped out of his seat once he noticed Giovanni's slumber. Gengar retaliated with a Psychic pin down on Fuji back into Fuji's seat. Jack quickly recovered Giovanni's ID badge from his jacket pocket and breached through the steel back door. Behind the door lied a hollow metallic sphere surfaced with advanced force field technology. Jack had then realized why the chopper had excessive weight and that Giovanni had secretly planned to capture Mew with an anti-Psychic confinement. Jack slammed the back door and signaled Gengar, releasing Fuji from his temporary paralysis. Jack quickly exclaimed,
"You've got help me put down this bastard, Fuji! He is trying to play God with something that has already been created!" Fuji responded with desperation.
"Please, Jack! You must let me qualify my research! Giovanni wants Mew for himself, but I just need its DNA! Without the success of this experiment, my hope of bringing my Daisy back to life will be impossible!" As Fuji explained to Jack how Mew's astounding ability to recover health could potentially breathe life, he reached for the picture of his 5 year old daughter who had recently passed away due to skin cancer. After glancing at Daisy's picture, Jack expressed a sympathetic grin and softly spoke, "I have a son and he is the light of my world." Then, Jack vanished under Gengar's Teleport move.

"Land this damn chopper right now! Fuji, you are dismissed! You have caused me enough trouble already for letting that son of a ***** escape!" Giovanni raged as the Hypnosis had worn off. Fuji tossed his frequency detector in Giovanni's direction and thunder crashed at the sound of Giovanni's anger. As soon as the chopper rail met the ground, Giovanni recklessly rushed out of the chopper and summoned Aerodactyl. Giovanni had persuaded Elite Four Lance to lend him his Aerodactyl, a steadfast Rock-Flying type Pokémon who possessed appropriate credentials for the mission. The ancient Pokémon's screeching roar exposed her location to Jack's Charizard, who had been called forth by Jack after Gengar's Teleport witchcraft. As ordered by her temporary master, Aerodactyl slashed her way through the back end aluminum of the chopper to retrieve the anti-Psychic cage.
Any raindrop that dared to fall within 50 feet of Charizard would vaporize instantly. His ability to emanate a radial heat shield was rigorously developed by Jack's training regiment. 15 years back, teenage Jack and Charmeleon would sneak into Cerulean City Gym at nightfall and the training would commence. Jack's team of Pokémon, including Charmeleon, knew just as well as their trainer that dissecting the weakness of one's Pokémon type and exploiting it would be the cornerstone of battling success. With this philosophy in mind, the Fire type Charmeleon would deep dive into the 30,000-gallon pool and his body temperature would be compromised. During one of those nights of training, Jack realized that all the water inside the pool would effervesce into steam. Jack proudly gazed at Charmeleon standing on the ground of the pool once the steam cleared, to notice his burning aura. All those steep curves of training that Jack insisted in executing were about to pay off that night in the forest.

Aerodactyl's escape from Charizard became inevitable as Giovanni navigated her to Mew's location. Even though Aerodactyl's base stat in Speed far surpassed that of Charizard, Aerodactyl was hauling Mew's entrapment, so Charizard had the upper hand from a weight standpoint. Jack commanded Charizard to tail Aerodactyl in a stealthy manner and to fly at a lower altitude.
Metapod and Kakuna always traveled in herds. Their ability to thrive in numbers was fruitful but the nightly storm gusts that were brewing had isolated a wild Caterpie and its mother Metapod from their barricaded herd. Only a mother's love could explain how the limbless Metapod remained latched on to her child as they were tossed back and forth between the churning winds. As commanded by his mother, Caterpie utilized his String Shot to wrap webbing around himself and his adamant mother to secure their contact. Eventually, the webbed ellipsoid of mother and child wrestled many branches and began to generate momentum. An ominous gust jerked the webbed shell as it began to take the path of colliding into the splinters of a severed pine tree due to wind stress. The String Shot barrier and the mother's Harden move were about to become compromised until a mysterious Butterfree appeared from the icy bushes. The fully evolved hero emitted a Gust attack, knocking the shell off course from its demise. The Butterfree gazed above the harsh winds and then found sight to a small flame that rapidly began to grow in size. A true Butterfree would have fled in the presence of fire.

Charizard's Fly attack was a gateway to displaying his physicality and brute power. The flame on Charizard's tail was the only burning hope of Mew's awareness for near danger. Jack Burns was familiar with latching on to Charizard's back at near sonic speeds as gravity strengthened Charizard's nose-dive. Giovanni ordered Aerodactyl, who had unknowingly been positioned ahead and above Charizard, to hurl the anti-Psychic sphere in the direction where the frequency detector yielded Mew's location. Charizard didn't need a command from Jack to begin nose-diving towards Mew's location as soon as Giovanni began to vocalize his command. Once Charizard quickly reached the ground, he bellowed air against the ground with the stroke of his wings to soften the landing. Jack hopped off of his best friend and gently approached Mew disguised as a Butterfree. Charizard then took a quick glance at the airborne trap and executed a Mega Kick on the nearest tree within his peripheral sight. The tree instantly snapped near the roots and Charizard grabbed the newly severed log in mid-air. He then stepped up at home plate with a second to spare towards the anti-Psychic ball as it approached the end of its trajectory. As the Fire-Flying type Pokémon exerted a mighty swing, the tree log shattered on impact and the sphere went soaring towards its pitcher. Jack withdrew Charizard before addressing the Bug-Flying type Pokémon.

"Roll!" Giovanni ordered Lance's Pokémon to bank as soon as he took notice of Charizard's retaliation on Mew's trap heading in their direction. He took slight observation to the fact that there was a deep crevice in the trap as Aerodactyl evaded its impact, rendering the heavy trap useless. Giovanni's huge investment in capturing the most sacred Pokémon in the region was disposed of by Jack, a Pokémon Trainer that he already despised. It was undisputable that The Team Rocket Executive did not plan not leaving the Forest that night until the flame on Charizard's tail was extinguished. During Aerodactyl's roll, Giovanni's lack of experience with riding on Lance's Pokémon caused him to lose grip of Aerodactyl's rough scales. Using the agile mind that he developed as a Pokémon Trainer, Giovanni clipped the frequency detector to his front left belt strap and released Rhyhorn to use as platform for the 150-foot plummet to the surface of the forest. He then returned Aerodactyl to Lance's Ultra Ball all during his unexpected free fall.

Despite its childlike mannerisms, Mew was capable of understanding the rarity of its own identity. Therefore, its caution was heightened around even the smallest interaction of humans. In spite of its anxiety with humans, it seemed to take an exceptional liking to Jack for his gentleness and affection. Jack's attitude was very nonchalant in approaching the most valued Pokémon in the entire Kanto region, especially since his encounters with various legendary Pokémon were secretly prevalent in his ventures. Mew, in the form of Butterfree, embraced Jack's forearm and succumbed its disguise to its natural form. Its warm pink fur and its blue aura encased its miniscule body. Those who sought to capture Mew were always fooled by Mew's weak appearance because in reality, its magnitude of Psychic manipulation and telekinesis was threefold than that of any fully evolved Psychic type Pokémon. As Mew pawed Jack's index finger, Jack began to speak softly to the legendary Pokémon,
"Do you sense him nearby? The one who is heart broken for the livelihood of his offspring. Without your DNA, he-" Jack abruptly halted his plea to notice Mew's eyes glistening in harmony with its blue aura. Mew began to track Fuji as soon as Jack mentioned the doctor's dilemma. He was 6 miles out bordering the north side of Viridian City in the chopper of which Aerodactyl ripped a gaping hole into. Once it pinpointed his mind, Mew dove into his thoughts and unveiled the significance behind the reason why he needed its DNA. Mew was easily capable of reading Fuji's thoughts since his mind was pure and filled with humility and Mew contained the same thinking philosophy. A Psychic type Pokémon's ability to read the thoughts of another only sufficed if the reader and the read were driven by similar ambitions. This phenomenon could explain why Mew could not predict the charging wrathful Rhyhorn with a self-minded Team Rocket Executive riding on her rock-blade back.

The storm was hesitant with its wind gusts. Giovanni was conflicted as he commanded Rhyhorn to charge in the direction in which the frequency detector navigated. When impacting the ground from his fall off of Aerodactyl, he broke his wrist for focusing his left palm on Rhyhorn's curved shoulder blade. In spite of his injury, Giovanni was eager to reach his destination and he didn't know why. Initially, his ambition wouldn't cease to the possibility of missing any chance to capture Mew. But, his newfound hate for Jack and his Pokémon was enriched by the collapse of his original plan. Either way, he was confident that his rage would come to rest if he left that forest with the legendary Psychic type Pokémon or with the corpse of his rival Pokémon trainer.
Mew used telekinesis to remove a hair follicle from its long bulb-shaped tail and relinquished it in Jack's hand. There was almost nothing that could prevent Mew from providing for Fuji's children. Its appearance was tiny but its will and its love was tremendous. Jack was grateful and he clenched the specimen. He began to carefully notice tremors in his hand where he held Mew's DNA sample. He quickly learned that the source of the vibrations was oscillating from the ground. Jack spoke,
"There's only one explanation. It's Giovanni. You have to get out of here, Mew!" Mew could make out afar, the Rhyhorn and her adamant owner evading large trees and bulldozing the small ones. Right when Jack reached for the Pokeball containing his resting Charizard, Mew used Psychic on Jack's arm to prevent Charizard's summoning. Mew promptly transformed into a radiant Rapidash and lifted Jack off of his feet. As soon as it could lock onto Rhyhorn, Mew unleashed a Fire Blast attack. Immediately afterwards, Mew began to gallop aggressively in the opposite direction.
"Rhyhorn, use Horn Attack!" Rhyhorn effortlessly shattered the flame of what was composed of the Fire Blast. Surely, even the most powerful Fire type attack would deem not very effective against a Ground-Rock type Pokémon.
"Return!" Giovanni shifted Pokémon to resort for Speed and switched out Rhyhorn with Aerodactyl as he leaped off of Rhyhorn. Rapidash was the 11th fastest traveling land Pokémon in the Kanto region, but that Pokémon statistic was a laughing stock at the disposal of Aerodactyl's rank as the ultimate champion of Speed. Mew could have simply transformed into a replica of the fastest Pokémon known, but it conceived a plan that involved the art of surprise rather than raw speed. As expected, Aerodactyl flew low above the ground and caught up to Rapidash with ease. Giovanni overly grinned as he commanded Lance's Pokémon, understanding that he had the mere opportunity to knock out two birds with one stone. Jack and Mew were the two birds within Giovanni's metaphorical contemplation.
"Aerodactyl, use Rock Slide!" Aerodactyl clashed into a nearby boulder with her long head, sending shards of little boulders towards the path of Rapidash and Jack. Mew immediately transformed into an Onix and barricaded Jack as it spiraled its body with Jack in the center. The Rock Slide attack was virtually ineffective against the astounding base stat Defense of Onix. Aerodactyl had to sharply raise her altitude and stall her wings in order to avoid colliding into the large rigid body of Onix. She dipped towards the ground to utilize gravity and regain momentum after she stalled over the top of long rock-snake Pokémon. Giovanni made sure not to lose grip this time. By then, Mew had already transformed from an Onix to a Tauros, another contender in the Speed category. Jack hopped on board and Tauros charged in the direction opposite to the original path. Giovanni quickly learned that after one mistake, he was contending in a war of intelligence against a clever foe with countless capabilities. Aerodactyl circled around a tree nearby and picked up speed with her centripetal acceleration. Within seconds, the ancient Pokémon was tailing the three tails of Tauros. Jack was able to make out what Giovanni was doing as he looked over his shoulder, while traveling at a vicious velocity. Giovanni had summoned another Pokémon. The rigorous rush and the bending winds prevented Jack from painting a detailed picture of this observation. With a sixth sense that he developed as an elite Pokémon trainer, he foresaw a dawning dilemma. Surely, the Tauros disguised Mew lost balance over the stealthy Dig Attack by Giovanni's Dugtrio. On impact, Jack lost firm grip of Tauros' fur and subsequently went flying. While airborne, Jack exposed a gliding tactic of his that he had mastered with his best friend, Charizard, in rigorous training procedures. He had engineered a glider that consisted of micro-material, in the shape of a wing jump suit. He would deploy the suit whenever he would need to jump off of the back of Charizard in times of peril. This time, he was involuntarily jumping off of the back of Tauros, and he would have the suit equipped at all times. He and his wing jump suit landed many yards ahead of where Dugtrio executed his surprise attack and landed undesirably headfirst. He gained momentary unconsciousness. In the instant that Jack deployed his wing jump suit, Mew had transformed to its original form and sensed a Rock Throw attack that Aerodactyl released, following Dugtrio's Dig Attack. To shield itself from the projected boulder, it formed a Psychic barrier and grounded its feet to the moist dirt that the storm had been softening with its torrential rainfall. The boulder disintegrated at the mercy of Mew's barrier. Mew became aware that it was being double-teamed by Lance's Aerodactyl and Giovanni's Dugtrio, which was all coordinated by Giovanni's command. Dugtrio sensed that Mew was grounded once again through vibrations in the ground and then followed with another Dig Attack. Mew endured yet another hit from underground and flew straight up, but its large life force prevented it from succumbing in the battle. Before it reached the apex of its flight trajectory, it quickly transformed into a cumbersome weighted Snorlax and fell back directly on the top of Dugtrio's head. It was unmistakable that Dugtrio had fainted due to Snorlax's retaliating Body Slam. Giovanni answered by returning Aerodactyl to its Ultra Ball and re-summoning Rhyhorn.
"Use Horn Attack on its belly!" At this point, Mew was having a blast. It's been decades since it has needed to test its transforming abilities in battle. When Rhyhorn was inches away from Mew's transformed belly, Mew shifted from Snorlax, to a Haunter. Since Horn Attack was a Normal type attack, Rhyhorn's attack rendered useless on a Ghost-Poison type Pokémon. Haunter's transparency took Rhyhorn by surprise as she galloped right through Haunter, and she dragged her hind legs on the wet ground to kill her momentum and turn around. As soon as she regained focus on Haunter, she noticed that it had transformed back into its original form. Mew had lowered its guard simply because it was humored. Its grin quickly escalated into a high-pitched giggle and Rhyhorn grew frantically furious as she assumed that Mew was finding joy in her own misery and struggle to land an attack. Giovanni immediately sensed the emotion that Rhyhorn displayed and instantly constructed a plan that would exploit Rhyhorn's anger to his advantage. All he had to do was distract Mew for a short moment. Giovanni slipped on his game face and started laughing with Mew.
"You seem to be the expert in the art of surprise, Mew. Let's see what you think of this surprise." The storm had completely passed and the tone of Giovanni's words was misleading and gentle. Before Mew could even raise suspicion, the enraged Rhyhorn had already executed her ultimate attack from behind. Her Horn Drill attack was a tedious attack to charge and unlikely to land but it guaranteed a knock out, even on a Legendary Pokémon. Mew collapsed and its aura faded.
The faint sound of Mew's cry on impact had awoken Jack from his concussive nap. He took a second to absorb what his eyes were telling him as he slowly stood up. There laid the most powerful Pokémon in all of the land, falling victim to an evil man with a manipulative mind. Giovanni reached into the side pocket of his blazer and took grasp to a vacant Ultra Ball. With sheer excitement and an evil grin on his face, he tossed the Ultra Ball in the direction where Mew lied motionless. But Giovanni had stalled in celebration, allowing Jack to reach for Charizard's Pokeball. Once summoned by Jack, the obedient giant released a Flamethrower from above the fainted transformer towards the path of the Ultra Ball. The device disintegrated at the breath of Charizard and Giovanni turned his head.
"You will not interfere with my greatest achievement! Rhyhorn, you shall use your type advantage to crush this damn lizard! And this time, make sure you kill him." Giovanni had his crosshairs on Jack's Charizard ever since Charizard made child's play out of his anti-Psychic trap. Just as the Pokémon of any trainer, Rhyhorn could synchronize with Giovanni's anguish. This emotional rush was exactly what pushed her over the edge. The ground beneath her began to shake. Clots of dirt around the driven Rhyhorn began to rise in a haphazard manner. It was clear to Jack that Giovanni's Rhyhorn was undergoing evolution. Rhyhorn began to push off the ground with her two front legs, which were soon to become arms. The spherical layer of rock that engulfed her body began to grow darker. Her roar caused nearby bird Pokémon to flee from the trees in the area as they were barricading themselves from the prior storm.

The newly evolved Rhydon planted her two standing feet and her red eyes were locked onto Charizard. The new drill on her face began to rotate and grind with fury. Giovanni seemed to express more enthusiasm on Jack and Charizard's intimidated demeanor than that of his own Pokémon's milestone achievement. Jack's confidence level in defeating the opposing Ground-Rock type Pokémon plummeted once he witnessed the evolution. He knew he had to act quickly.
"Charizard, you must grab Mew right away at full speed!" Charizard swiftly followed Jack's order and nosedived from his elevated position and on towards Mew.
"Rhydon, pierce that wretched lizard with your most dignified Horn Attack!" Giovanni cried with desperation. It was going to be close. Although Charizard's speed advantage could have been promising, Rhydon's shorter distance from Mew's lying body granted her a substantial advantage. Charizard didn't bother to look ahead in his foe's direction as he swooped towards the ground to lift Mew. He then lightly pushed off the ground after the scoop. Rhydon had jumped and thrashed her nose-drill in the air to attempt to make impact with Charizard during his elevation. But she only managed to barely scratch the end of Charizard's tail towards his flame tip. Jack clenched his fist and then continued giving orders,
"Earthquake, Charizard! And hold your precious cargo above your wings!" Before Giovanni could resort to Aerodactyl for an airborne match, Charizard had already followed Jack's orders and flapped his wings against the sky to quickly fall feet first towards the ground in between Giovanni and Rhydon. A crevice in the ground began to quickly grow at Charizard's feet right at landing. The Earthquake attack by Charizard was surely super effective against the Rock type nature of Rhydon, but Jack knew it was only enough for a quick getaway. Giovanni and Rhydon had become shaken up by Charizard's surprise plummet. This distraction served enough time for Charizard to fly over to Jack so Jack could climb on his back. With Mew in his arms, Charizard flew away from the battlefield. Charizard began to notice Mew's body temperature increase as he clenched it in his control.

Thanks to Jack's automated landing system, Fuji made it safely to the lab facility in Cinnabar. He finally walked out of the worn down aircraft and found sight to a new friend he made that day. It was Gengar. He had teleported from an unknown location, and at his Psychic grasp was the hair follicle of the one and only Mew, the Legendary Transformer.
