I was just wondering what a good moveset / nature for a Honchkrow would be, and what position of my team it could be.

Probably not, since Honchkrow is used with a choice Scarf. It isn't the best pokemon since its movepool is pretty small.

    Honchkrow@Choice Scarf
    Trait: Super Luck
    Nature: Adamant
    EVs: 252 ATK/252 SPEED/4 HP
    Night Slash
    Pluck
    Return
    Steel Wing/Giga Impact

Well, Giga Impact does do more damage than two Steel Wings. Pluck is better than AA since most attacks that deal with evasion are banned HORRIBLE MOVEPOOL!!!

Honchkrow... That's a tough one. I know Honchkrow sucks at Defense, and has Crap Speed, so we'll have to make do with this:

    Honchkrow @ Choice Scarf
    Ability: Super Luck
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    - Drill Peck
    - Night Slash
    - Pursuit
    - Steel Wing
    ...Don't ask.

    Honchkrow @ Leftovers
    Ability: Insomnia
    EVs: 252 HP / 140 Atk / 80 Def / 36 SDef
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    - Thunder Wave
    - Pursuit
    - Substitute
    - Drill Peck / Whirlwind
ParaPursuit Honchkrow, which is obviously the only clever thing I can think of =/

imo, as a battling Pokemon, Honchkrow is the suck.

omg no ._. ... i use Honchkrow myself and it owns.

    Honchkrow @ Focus Sash
    Naughty Nature
    228 ATK/116 SP ATK/164 SPD
    Ability: Insomnia
    -Night Slash
    -Drill Peck
-Hidden Power Ice (or Fighting or Fire)
    -Thunderwave/Taunt

does well for me. for better coverage, you'll need night slash+drill peck + hp fight/fire, but what i worry for is dragons for the OHKO and ground type walls who can't be paralyzed.

    some more honchkrow movesets:

    Honchkrow @ Leftovers
    Bold Nature
    252 HP/112 DEF/108 SPD/36 SP ATK
    Ability: Insomnia
    -Dark Pulse
    -Substitute/Roost
    -Nasty Plot/Calm Mind
    -Taunt/Thunderwave

subplot/subcm combo. twave + roost + calm mind is a good combo while sub + nasty plot + taunt/twave is a good combo as well.

    Honchkrow @ Choice Specs
    Modest Nature
    252 SP ATK/168 HP/88 SPD
    -Dark Pulse
    -Psychic
    -Hidden Power Fire
    -Sucker Punch

i know what you're thinking... modest nature w/ Sucker Punch? with 31 ivs, -Atk nature, its attack is at 251. since Dark Pulse + Psychic + Hidden Power Fire covers everything, Sucker Punch is there for quick finishing. that way you can actually stop a poke from sweeping your whole team. also good for pokes like Gengar and Starmie who are faster than you and have a strong SE hit against Honchkrow. it won't OHKO them, but if their HP is down, then it'll definitely KO them.

    OMG, honchkrow is my favorite!
he is so beasty, i absolutely love him!
here, this is the set i use:

    Honchkrow @ Scope Lens/Leftovers
    252 HP/ 252 Att/ 6 speed
(if you want hidden power id use these evs)
    252 Hp/ 58 Sp Att/ 200 Att
    Super Luck
    Naughty Nature
    - Night Slash
    - Drill Peck
    - Steel Wing
    - Roost/Hidden Power [fighting]/Sucker Punch

this set takes full advantage of his ability to get critical hits. with night slash, you will often get crits, but a lot of people hate hax items and consider scope lens one of them.
if thats the case, just go with leftovers.
drill peck for fighters, and steel wing covers your weakness (ice and rock)

-roost to recover that insane hp (i have roost on mine)

-hidden power fighting, drill peck, and night slash cover pretty much everything

-sucker punch can give you that chance to go first that you desperately need to finish your opponent off.

    its your choice...

honchkrow is an amazing pokemon, i just wish they had given him a more diverse movepool.
it seems like all dark pokemon have bad movepools.
they only learn dark moves, and there arent any too powerful dark moves...
    it really sucks...
