    Introduction? But of course!



    Pokémon Origin is a game created by me and the development team based on Poccil's awesome Pokemon Essentials Starter Kit. The game itself features many unique abilities including Dual Screen and 3-Dimensional Map work along with other capabilities you won't find in most fangames.

    3D Maps

    Yes it's true. Thanks to MGCaladtogel (for NeoMode7) Origin is now 3D and my modifications to ALL of the NeoMode7 scripts for Pkmn Essentials support and improvements in performance and calculations.

    Online Capabilities

    Pokémon Origin features several self-scripted online features including:

    - Mystery Gift
    - Online Shopping (i.e. 1 Online PokeMart)

    Changed array of HMs

    Simple :D

    HM01 - Cut - Cuts down trees
    HM02 - Fly - Allows you to flying to other cities
    HM03 - Surf - Surfs on water
    HM04 - Strength - Moves (or pushes) boulders
    HM05 - Defog - Clears up fog
    HM06 - Earthquake - Delivers a booming quake to the ground to smash special breakable rocks and/or walls within 10 movement spaces.
    HM07 - Waterfall - Climbs waterfalls
    HM08 - Rock Climb - Climbs rockwall-like surfaces

    Pokétch

    The Pokétch makes a glorious return from Pokémon Platinum Version with new apps!

  • Thanks you guys for positive reinforcement, but to answer a few questions:

    - No new pokemon(unless you count the new rotom, giratina, and shaymin formes)

    -Starters are: Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup.

    -Darkarceus Thanks for the tip, I'll look into it(I mean anyone could lie just to get credit for anything, but I'll definitely look into it.)

    Just going to say a few things. I usually just go around here and read threads and dont post. I follow a couple of games on these forums but it looks like they will take years to finish and really develop slow and the game is original.

    But this game at first sight I thought hmm another person who thinks he can make a good game and will have a crap game but after reading it and if you do implement the stuff you are talking about i simply cant wait. I really mean this when i say good luck, i was hoping their be a demo but i aint too bothered but this game looks very interesting. quick question? are ALL pokemon catchable? and may i suggest some things? try making a system for more than 4 moves...eg lev 1-40 max 4 moves pokemon can learn- up to 50- 5, 60- 6...

    always which starters are available? all gens? and finally try to make a actual random pokemon league system in the end where there are say 100 trainers which the computer randomly chooses 1 etc

  • I SWEAR IT WONT BE ONE OF THOSE CRAP ONES, ITS GOING TO BE GREAT.
    90% of legends are catchable, the rest are event givaways, all pokemon are obtainable in some way or another, by event or by actually finding them. I am not an extreme scripter so I don't know how to make pokemon learn more than 4 attacks at once.Thank you for the encouragement.

    Your rowan sprite for the intro looks kind of blurry (you can see the line around it). Looks like a good game so far, though.

  • How do you add ini files to a Pokemon Emerald ROM. I have the INI file in a pokemon emerald folder, with the game. How can I put them together so I can use advanced text and have it completely done..
