Description: New to his role as a Gym Leader, Nathan moved to Viridian City to fill the position of the 8th Gym badge. His pokemon are very powerful and take alot to take down, it won't be an easy fight.

Pokemon Type: Rock and Fire
Battle Type: Single battle. 3 Pokemon. (read rules)
Description: Experienced in his role of Gym leader. Brock won't be a easy opponent whatsoever. His pokemon are tougher than most other gym leaders, not recommended for beginner trainers! He has trained his pokemon to cover their Water and Grass weaknesses and they wont be out muscled either. Ninetails and Graveler are pretty fast too, so you wont be able to rely on superior speed. Maybe you'll have to find other ways of taking him out.
Rules: 1 on 1 battle. Entry requirements: 3 pokemon. each pokemon battles its opponent. The winner is determined and both pokemon are returned and cannot be used again. First person to win 2 battles is the overall winner. The idea behind this is to stretch the trainer's choices of pokemon and make sure they have trained more than 1 pokemon for the fight.
Example: Onix vs Nidoran M. - then - Ninetails vs Umbreon - then - Graveller vs Nidoran F.

Description: Annoyed at her lack of progress as a pokemon trainer, Misty returned to Cerulean to help other trainers become strong. Misty is an average opponent. Her pokemon don't look all that tough but don't expect an easy battle! Kingdra is very strong! Misty has a few tricks up her sleeve, some of her pokemon are trained intensely to cover their weaknesses, they may have learned attacks that similar pokemon could not learn. She usually uses 3 pokemon but since her starmie got stolen she only uses two.
Rules: 1 on 1 battle.
Entry requirements: 2 pokemon. Last pokemon standing is the winner!!

Description: Lt. Surge's apprentice, Dom, Made his name known as one of the best battle tactician's in Kanto. Surge handed over his gym to the genius a few months ago and has retired from his Pokemon gym leader job. Many trainer's walk into the gym expecting an easy battle and come back with their pokemon in very bad shape. This trainer is one of the strongest gym leaders in Kanto and not many trainers will beat him straight out.
Rules: 2 vs 2 double pokemon battle
Entry requirements: 2 pokemon. Last pokemon standing is the winner!!
Pokemon:

Lanturn - Ampharos
Together, Lanturn and Ampharos use an immensely powerful Raindance/thunder combination. They also strike eachother with electric attacks and heal eachothers wounds. They become very hard to hit in the heavy rain and their electric and water combination is very powerful. With unexpected twists and turns, the two pokemon can cover eachother's weaknesses and co-ordinate very well on the battlefield.
Not many challengers walk away from here with a badge.

Description: Erika is very kind. She welcomes all trainers into her gym and accepts all challenges. She is always surrounded by many friends and is always looking to meet new friends.
She seems to automatically befriend anyone who challenges her and beats her using a grass type pokemon.
Entry requirements: 1 Pokemon.
Pokemon:

Vileplume

Her grass pokemon, Vileplume, is quite strong. But simply easy to defeat when it's type is used against it. It cannot counter it's weaknesses very well which makes it easy pray for Flying and Fire type pokemon. Other types also have advantages. But any pokemon with a grass type weakness is simply tossed aside.

Phew...I've been typing for a while now on the battle scene...still not done yet. It's going to be a long post! Oh and do I have to wait until Viridian Forest before I catch a Pikachu?

hey, it says that my houndours gender is ? when your description of it said it was a male, and are you gonna by chance change it so houndour isnt reserved for me any more because i have it already? sorry, the teeny things annoy me...tis bothersome...

I use word because I don't want that to happen, hehe :) Oh and the only thing I don't like is the paragraphs seem huge on word but they're like...teeny here XD

Phew...thanks! And I love RPing...it's so fun to me. Writing is a favorite pass time of mine. And as for the level thing, now I get why there wasn't any. XD Actually I was going to ask you...but I get what you mean. So they're still going to evolve but it'll just be sort of random like the anime, right?

that's exactly right :)
But to be fair, the game still influences it.
Like the position of things on the map, and in the villages and towns will be similar but imagine them as larger with more buildings etc :P since pallet town had like 3 or something? :P
As with pokemon only having 4 moves, i think that way we don't have massive lists :D
But yeah!! I really liked your post. Keep that up!

you're good at writing. stick to it, one day you'll be writing novels or storylines for something :)

Ohh, cool!
And you just...well, if you start a new game then you just hit save and it should save over it. (It might ask you if you're sure, but yeah...I think that's how it is. I've personally never done it because diamond has all my good pokes on it (I can't get Platinum for another like...week :( )
