PokéCommunity Tutoring Program

The PokéCommunity Tutoring Program is here to help competitive battlers who want to become better players. The tutoring program helps players develop skills like team building, long term thinking, prediction, etc. that are so important for competitive battlers to master. In the past, we tried a program where there were six students, each one being assigned to one of six tutors for individual teaching, but it was constantly bogged down with scheduling difficulties and general sluggishness. The S&M Staff is reintroducing the tutoring program, but there have been major changes made to deal with the problems that occurred last time.

Simply put, the tutoring program allows aspiring competitive battlers to contact one of our four tutors at their leisure. Students are never tied to one tutor—if a student is unhappy with his tutor, he can simply ask for help from a different one. To contact a tutor, it is best to log on to PC's Shoddy Server, where you can contact any tutor that is online via PM. Alternatively, you can just send a PM or VM to a tutor here on PC to let him know that you want some help, and then you can organize a time to meet on the server to begin tutoring. You cannot become a student in this program if you are banned on the PC Server and/or the Smogon Server.
