It isn't a hack. I believe that Lost Silver was made in Game Maker. It also isn't meant to be a 'game' in the normal sense of the word.

I actually got a huge kick out of that.

A nice break from the usual stuff on Lost Silver that you find.

And if you had read the creepypasta it would make much more sense.
