    Hello Everyone, and welcome to the Pokemon Online league: "The Milky Way". The Milky Way is a league of planets, but you still challenge Gym Leaders and other challengers too. In the Milky Way challengers are split into planets, and battle against each other in the 'War of the Milky Way'. And also for fun. All battles are held on Pokemon Online, more info on that below.​

    Rules:​

    • All battles are to be held on Pokemon Online
    - In Pokemon Online, all battles must be held in the Pokecommunity Server
    - It is also suggested you record the Battle Log, to ensure no cheating is provoked
    • No UBER Pokemon are allowed
    - Check here for the Milky Way League UBER Tier
    • Standard Battle Rules apply
    • 5th Generation Pokemon are allowed
    • Gym Leaders must have 5 Pokemon of their type; only one wildcard
    - As the 5th Generation tiers aren't released yet, UBER's from the 4th Gen are banned as well as Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem and Genosect
    • A Gym Leader can not reject a battle offer; only postpone. If they are absent, they must post here before leaving.
    • After a battle has taken place, each participant must post here with results
    • Once you have chosen your team, you cannot change it. Unless paying in stars.
    • Gym Leaders can collect badges from other leaders too
    • There will be a point system for wins, losses and draws
    - For every win three asteroids will be given
    - For every draw two asteroids will be given
    - For every loss one asteroid will be given
    • Asteroids are given to signify a battle
    - These can be traded to upgrade teams, etc.
    - You are given 5 asteroids at the beginning of your sign-up​

    Scratch that, you can't nominate anymore, because all positions are filled! Well, technically there is a Triple Battle Leader opening, but that's only if someone really wants to be a Gym Leader.
    For now, the 17 Gym Leaders are as follows

    War of the Milky Way:​

    Once a fortnight or month, each Planet will fight together and try to come out on top as the 'Planet of the Month'. This will be done like a clan war, and the winners will receive 20 asteroids each!​

    Asteroids:​

    Asteroids are like tokens, which are given to you when you battle anyone.


    If you win the War of the Milky Way, you receive 20 asteroids (as will everyone else in your planet)
    If you beat a Gym Leader, you receive 5 asteroids
    If you win a battle, you receive 3 asteroids
    If you draw a battle, you receive 2 asteroids
    If you lose a battle, you receive 1 asteroids
    Asteroids can be traded in to change your team and for other reasons too.​

    Asteroid Belt:​

    Here in the Asteroid Belt is where you can spend your Asteroids​


    To change a Pokemon in your team: 7 Asteroids
    To change your Ace Pokemon: 10 Asteroids
    To change your Trainer Card avatar: 5 Asteroids
    To make one of your Pokemon shiny: 15 Asteroids
    To switch a Pokemon of yours to an UBER: 50 Asteroids
    (Only one UBER per team, once you have one, it will be your last)​

    If you sign up, I will make a trainer card for you. There will be no badges on them, just stars (so it's easier for me, your defeated Gyms will be shown on the next post).​

    Stars:​

    You are able to gain at least 5 stars for you Trainer Card. Each star is achieved by doing one of the below (in no particular order)​

    • Get a full team of shinies (you will also be given 150 asteroids)
    • Win 'War of the Milky Way' 5 times (you will also be given 200 asteroids)
    • Beat all 17 Gym Leaders (you will also be given 125 asteroids)
    • Achieve 50 Wins (you will also be given 200 asteroids)
    • Get your UBER Pokemon (you will also be given 75 asteroids)​

    those will be added as you get them.​

    Pokemon Online:​

    What is Pokemon Online, you ask? ​

    Pokemon Online is a battle simulator to use on your computer, so only an internet connection is needed and you can battle. ​

    The website for Pokemon Online is here: https://www.pokemon-online.eu/
    And to download the installer just click the download button in the link (it's free and virus-free).​

    Once you have installed Pokemon Online, create a team following the guidelines in 'Teambuilder' and then go online by clicking the 'Go Online' button.
    Once you've clicked 'Go Online', a lot of servers will appear. Battles are only held in the PokeCommunity server, and that is not visible. ​

    To enter the server, you must use the 'advanced connection' box. Replace the sequence of numbers and periods in the advanced connection box with this: 72.76.35.44:5080 and then click the advanced connection button (which is right of the 'go back' button). That should let you into the server.​

    OK, SacredMikey andI just battled, and I lost (singles, I challenged him)

    BUT he used Garchomp (Ubers in gen 4) - does that mean a win, loss or Draw for him? or does the battle not count...

    It would mean you would win i think but if you want it to be a draw that's solely up to you.
     
    well you didn't know the rule, so i a bit unfair... besides, I don't want to look like someone who goes to all lengths to get a win...

    a draw it is then. I don't get the Badge, and we both get points...

    ok, we rematched (without his Garchomp) and I won... It was pretty even, with each of us getting 1 HAX (him an early awakening from sleep, me a crit)

    it ended up 1-0...

    EDIT: Also, could you chage my "Signature Pokemon" to Tyranitar??? I tend to use him much more...
