    Welcome to the Get-Together's Graphic Makers' Graffle, brought to you by myself and moments. Come here to show off your graphic skills to everyone in the community, and who knows, you might even win. :D

    This runtime for entries for this event will be from July 15th 12:00am EST to July 18th 12:00am EST. You can find out when it starts for you using a simple Timezone Conterter.

    Rules
    - Under no circumstances should anyone be caught cheating during this event. This means using other people's work and passing it off as your own.
    - Please only post once in this thread with your graphics. If you have another graphic to add, please edit your original post.
    - This event will have three categories, Icon, Tag and Large Piece, each with their own specifications.
    - The Icon must be a size of 100px x 100px, no bigger, no smaller.
    - The Tag can have a maximum size of 500px x 300px. You can make one smaller than that if you wish.
    - The Large Piece (LP) can have a maximum size of 1600px x 1200px.

    - You must post any images you used for creating your graphics.
    - Please try to stick to the theme of the event when making your graphics.
    - Have fun and a great time participating in the event!

    Another rule should be that only pieces made during the time of the competition can be entered.

    You spelt 'converter' wrong in the times for the event.
    Rainbows probably isn't the strongest theme, summer or Pokemon are good contenders, I'd choose Summer just because it's a little more open and stuffs.
     
    Well obviously Pokemon is a good choice for a theme, but I'd go more with summer also since it is summer in most places and such.
     
    The themes are kind of ridiculously difficult to make anything out of. More so for large pieces, icons should be fine, I mean, it doesn't allow people do any scratch large pieces unless they draw a rainbow or pokemon or a summer scene, but there's no much leeway there and this is a graphics contest and not a drawing contest. Anyone who prefers to do darker graphics are at a disadvantage. I think it's too limited as the themes really aren't offering much to work with nor is it going to be very fair across the board. As I say, it'll be fine for icons because you can easily find a stock, but for tags, the only real option there is Pokémon as it has optional focal points, but that's pretty much limited to 2D stocks. For tags, Summer could work, but again, we're all going to be limited to one kind of graphical option; find some girl frolicking about in a field while it's sunny and throw in some editing. Rainbows don't have much of a focal point. And I'd really see people struggling to do anything complex for large pieces.

    My point is just that we kind of need more themes or more variety, because the ones above are quite limited, and not in a challenging way, but in the sense that there's not really much of a choice in what to do. Anyway, that's just my 2 cents on the themes, would be nice to see more variety so it kind of gives more consideration for the tastes and styles of various graphic artists on PC.
     
    Yeah I think that is fair, it's far more broad and something everyone can relate to. Good job guys :]
     
    Music is a great theme to go with, there is so much people can do with that in their own styles. Good job.
