FireRed hack: Pokemon Volt Yellow : Anime Version

Alright this is my first attempt of finishing a game and I'm proud of what I've been able to accomplish. First and foremost it wouldn't have been possible without Boonzeet as he created the root of the game and I took it to extra levels!

Welcome to Pokemon Volt Yellow: Anime Version! This game embodies what Pokemon Yellow would have been for generation 3 on steroids lol

NOTE: The game is done, completely playable. There are 3-4 cosmetic things i would like to do which can be viewed later down in my post.

As Ash you explore the region of Kanto with your pal Pikachu to become a Pokemon Master. The Ash sprite was created with Pikachu attached to show the bond they have together. Your very first pokemon given to you by Professor Oak runs, bikes, surfs and fishes with you!


Multiple features in this game

- Updated backsprites
(Exclusive backsprites for both Ash and Pikachu)
- Updated Overworld sprites
- RTC-DNS enabled
- A loyal bird waiting for you in Viridian forest
- Team rockets Jessie and James battles are exactly like the yellow version
- All 3 Kanto starters available..with a familiar cry to them..

- Legendary Battles- Who?? Where?? Play the game and check out the islands after the main story.
- You like to surf? So do I, I hate that blue blob in FRLG games...
- Two friends that pop up to give you that anime vibe

2020 came with a lot of difficulties for people, it was the same for me too. I hope this game brings some joy! This community really helped me. Working on this game really helped de-stress and connect/ learn from different people.I really want do more to this game and I hope if there's anyone who wants to teach me a few things or wants to help lets network.

Are all the TMs the same as third gen as well? Sae with move lists? If so that can make things difficult making movesets for pokemon, especially pikachu. Pikachu without grass knot in late game isnt gonna last against some opponents lol. And are TMs reusable? We need more info on some of this stuff.

*Updated movesets for all Pokémon and TMs are reusable.

I thought I would leave some mystery for whats in the game but I understand your inquiry.

That helps, thats all I needed really. There is one other question involving the Light Ball but I'm sure that one's been taken into account too given the theme of this game, so I'll wait and see.

Kk awesome anyways already worked on a few things I noticed. Created a script for the legendaries after the main story and the pidgeotto thats obtainable at the beginning of the game. Was noticing once captured they reappear after you walk away. They won't anymore. Still need assistance with swapping character sprite in game. I want ash to be temporary until the first battle with Gary is done. At that point the ash-pikachu sprite will appear.

Started playing and noticed the pidgeotto glitch. Is there an updated version out before I get to far in. Brilliant game
