[Questions] What packs to buy?

I'm getting back into Pokemon and I'm new the all since the 90s. I have original first editions from 1-151 I'll make a grading thread later. I also just bought these in the attachment but I'm not sure if booster packs like this or the booster boxes 36 Packs are better. What's the benefit of any to the small boxes with dice and random stuff I'll never use?
