Location: Ankoku Temple...
Time: Seven years after the departure of the Ark of Yamato...


The night was fierce, dark, and wet. A terrible storm was looming over Ankoku Temple. The wind and rain was battering against the walls, pounding, as if thousands of hands were knocking against the temple. The clouds were dark, darker than midnight and deeper than the deepest trench in the sea. Lightning flashed, creating a silhouette of the building. Lightning struck repeatedly, until a silhouette of a mammoth demon, with nine tentacles branching off of it, was revealed to be standing on top of the temple. The lightning flashed one more time, revealing its true form, a titanic white fox with nine tails.

Dark Lord, Ninetails​

Each of this creatures tails ended with a red ink tipped paint brush and most of the tails were wearing a colored, cat mask, a green cloth, and a red bead; her center tail, however, was wearing a necklace of red beads, has no mask, and was covered in a blue cloth. The demon's face was covered by a fox mask, except this mask seemed to move like it is the gigantic fox's true face. Her mask was painted so that it had two red cheek spots, two spinning clouds for eyebrows, and a grey spear like shape running up its face. On her back is a green sword with eight, golden prongs moving up to the edge and a golden, wing like cross-guard that split the green handle from the green blade.

The demon fox leapt down from atop the temple and snarled, "Now that the Emperor of Eternal Darkness is dead, I have the chance to dominate this pitiful land! All will bow before the Dark Lord!"

The fox's nine tails began to paint a symbol shaped like a sideways eight, but was interrupted by a quick slice to it's tail. The beast looked behind to find a mysterious figure standing atop the temple's ark.

The figure turned around, revealing to be a child with snow white hair and a red circle marking with two lines sprouting from the top and the bottom of the circle. Two red curved lines sat under his eyes and he was wearing tattered cloth from his waist to his knees. Sprouting from the pack of his cloth was a tails with hair that spiraled like the clouds, which had black ink on the tip, like a paint brush. The child was wielding in his right hand a green sword with a spiral of wind blowing through it, called Kusanagi, and in his left had was a red mirror with a fire design on the back and multicolored flames coming off of it, called Solar Flare. The angered fox roared, "How dare you attack me, the Dark Lord, Ninetails! For that action, I shall tear you to pieces!"

The child, didn't even flinch, and stared at the Dark Lord. In a fierce rampage, Ninetails leapt at the boy, who stood still, until he was pinned down. Ninetails then want to bite of the boys head, but was repelled and knocked of the child by the power of Solar Flare. The boy got up and threw Kusanagi into the air. Spiraling up into the air, the blade was struck by a lightning bolt and landed into the child's hand. The electrified sword was then tossed at the green blade the demon fox was carrying, electrocuting the beast. Electrified, the demon was split into 9 spirits, each one taking the form of a woman in a colored mask.

Possessed (Evil) Rao​

One of the women, was covered in a blue fire and was wearing the demon fox's mask. She held a dagger in one hand and the Green sword in her other hand. she wore priestess clothing and wore a red necklace around her neck. The brave child lunged at the woman with his blazing mirror in hand and sliced right through the flames, destroying the spirit's physical form. Reduced to a blue fire, the fire changed to red with a little blue flame flickering in the center. The flame whisked off a cliff wall and went right into the wall. The eight other spirits combined and the clothing to the center tail and the demon fox's face mask were missing, revealing many cuts and wounds on the fox's red body, a normal fox's tail and a fox's face, with it's right eye missing. Angered, the fox got up into a hand stand and the eight masked tails, still cream colored, spewed jets of a fowl liquid at the child, sending him into the cliff wall behind the Ankoku Temple. The child, going through the wall, stuck the cave wall and fell into a well and landed in a wet passage way.

"We shall face each other again you feral tramp!" roared the angered Dark Lord as she vanished in a cloak of red flames.
The spirit that was split from the rest of the flames floated above a skeleton in the passage way. While he was falling down, the child's tail painted ink on the skeleton, causing the skeleton to be enveloped in light. The skeleton rose up, restored to flesh and blood, revealing to be a priestess with blue beads, black hair, and a beauty mark at the bottom left corner of her left eye.

The Beautiful Priestess, Rao​

Her beads suddenly began to change color from blue to red as she realized that she was alive again. She noticed the child on the ground, unconscious and wounded from the fight with the Dark Lord, so she lifted him up and decided to take him to a safe haven so he can rest and recover, Sei-an City.
