    はじめましてみなさん!元気ですか?

    私は大学四年生です。 七か月日本語を勉強しています。
    でも、なつに日本語のクラスがないから、日本語をれんしょうしたいです。
    日本語を話す人、はいってください!

    えいごを話す人もいいですよ。

    Translation:

Nice to meet you everyone! How are you?

I am a fourth year university student. I have been studying Japanese for seven months.
But, because over the summer there is no Japanese class, I would like to practice Japanese.
People who speak Japanese please join!

English speaking people are okay too.

Basically, if you would like to speak in Japanese, you are welcome here. Please no Romanji. If you want to learn, I will try and help you, and of course anyone else can help anyone else too. English is okay when it is necessary, but try to speak mostly in Japanese.

    これはいいですね?

Well, first you should learn ひらがな (Hiragana) before anything else. I'm not fond of using Romanji.

Here are a few websites that are helpful:
    https://www.realkana.com/hiragana/
    https://www.learn-hiragana-katakana.com/review-play-hiragana-game/

The same websites also have features to learn カタカナ (Katakana) with.

ひらがな is the syllabary used for all native Japanese words. It is a graphical representation of all the possible sounds in the Japanese language.

カタカナ is the syllabary used for all borrowed words. It too, like ひらがな, represents all the possible sounds in the Japanese language.

I've tried Katakana already and it seems easier then Hiragana, what confuses me is the pronunciation of "tsu" in certain words like liar in Japanese or the Akatsuki in Naruto

I always make the tsu sound by putting my tongue between my teeth and blowing air. Does that make any sense? You should be able to find readings of the characters online to listen to.

"about me and entertainment"? What about you and entertainment?

Honestly, your guess is as good as mine, I've only been studying for about 8 months now.

umm nevermind its okay, but I've tried to go look in libraries for Japanese books, but of course nowhere can I find them. Then again my area sucks when it comes to selling or lending books

    YAY 7000 POST!

    Where do you live?

Try looking on Amazon for some cheap Japanese books if you are serious about learning the language.
