    does rain dance or sunny day stop the effects of sandstorm?
     
    Both, and so does hail. Great if you have a TTar on your team that hurts your pokemon more than the opponent's pokemon.
     
    All weather effects negate each other, Like if I had Rain Dance active, then you use Sunny Day, Rain Dance is gone. The ability Air Lock leaves the effect in play, but just gets rid of the benefits.
