This card can do good things for the old heavy hitters like Base 1 and 2 Charizard, Blane's Moltres and Blane's Arcanine. Turn it to Colorless and add all of those energies to it to use the attack. The only downside is that you would have to discard the right type of energy for the attack, and this card after you attack. Not bad.

You read the card wrong...it changes the pokemon's TYPE...not the attack's energy cost...
thus, making this card purely situational and stupid unless the whole deck is centered around it.

Like... You can only use it for 2 usefull purposes:
1. Holy wtf... It's a dragon? Be it's weakness!
2. Sh... They've got resistance to you? Get colorless.
Pretty useless, if so.
