The pokebody is very helpful, especially because LV. X ,will be used very often. You can't really ask for more hp on a luxray. The HP boost, makes it easy to take out those pesty LV.Xs . The retrae cost needs no comment, especially because Luxray is a stage 2. Any weakness is bad, but we can't really expect anything else, sot he weakness is justified, plus we have a resistance, which isn't seen that much on electric types. Plasma, does enough damage seeing as it's an attack that helps atach energies to Luxray. Shock bolt is great, but the fact that, he doesn't lose an amount (say 2) of energies, instead of all, is bad, because it doesn't allow you to set up a lot of energies with plasma, when not needed, and you could be burning lots of energies for nothing, as with plasma it says you must not may attach an electric energy. It's perfect against those pesty hard hitters, but unreliable against normal cards, but that's where the 0 retreat cost comes in, where you can retreat, if you don't want to waste energies on Luxray and use it against those LV.Xs. Luxray being an electric helps alot, as in the meta, Empoleons and other water types are becoming more and more popular.
