3rd Gen Which Pokemon have you caught as "Shiney"?

i have yet to catch any shinies. :(

and i'm def not about to use a gameshark to get them.


what's the best way of obtaining one? just walking through grass for hours, and a lot of luck? lol
 
haha yeaa. thanks man. i just turned on my FR and now i'm on the search for any Shiny. i'm trying for a Ghastly but whatever comes soonest lol.

Didn't know what the icon came from originally.. I did an Avator quiz somewhere on LiveJournal and I got this one. Thought it was cool so I have been using it since. Thanks man

Mewtwo

Enti
Raiku
Suicune
Metapod
Nidoking
Nidoqueen
Typhloshin
Swellow
Pelipper

Some of them are evolved forms though.

Not to mention insanely lucky^^. I allmost lost the thing when I was batteling it...dident have the Mball, so I had to battle it the hard way. Though I did get that thing in the end!

It is just a different color and sparkles when it comes out.. plus you get bragging rights :laugh:

Actually yeah. In Sapphire I caught a Shiney Nincada, and wasn't even looking though. First Shiney I have ever gotten beside the Red Gyarados in G/S

It was the fourth or fifth time I had reset my file on my Japanese Firered...I was in shock when I got it...now if I could only buy the American FR...
 
Oh! I looked up Shiny Pics and I see what they are.....I haven't caught one, but I imagine it is VERY hard to find/catch one.

Yes, it is a very low chance to get one.. like 2.5% or something.. unless you use a Gameshark or some other cheat device.. though I don't do that.. I would rather do it legit, more satisfaction.

Not sure of the exact percent but it is everytime you encounter a Pokemon, no matter how you encounter them. (not sure on Eevee and Lapras since you get them from Pokeballs but I am thinking they are still able to become Shiny when you pick them up. Someone want to confirm this?)
