Thanks to Water Pokemon Master from www.pokebeach.com for the scan.

Card art is nowhere near as good as the HP metal one. :<

Self-Charge looks pretty good, 3 for 100 is great except for the discard cost. It'd be fine with energy acceleration though. If there was a Pokemon that had a power like Venusaur CG except for Lightnings then this would be awesome with a Boost.

Brilliant if you're using things like boost and scramble energy, or using it alongside Magneton. Not too horrible on it's own either.

Decent with Scramble (and works well in Raieggs with that) but I don't see why you'd want to use it with Boosts.

On the simple principle of getting the discarded energies back. To be honest I;d of much rather seen a re print of Sandstorm's Raichu ex.

Nope, still don't see a place for Boost with this particular card. Thunderbolt needs [L][L][C] not [C][C][C], and if you want to use Plasma then there's no reason you would Boost it instead of attaching any other energy that will stay there and pay for Thunderbolt afterwards.

Oh, Boost energy, I dunno, never really use it. I always thought it was similar to scramble.

    Nup.
Boost = [C][C][C], attached to an evolved, Pokemon can't retreat and the card is discarded after.
Scramble = [Rainbow][Rainbow][Rainbow]/[C], depending whether you're behind or tied/ahead on Prizes. Attaches to non ex, evolved Pokemon.

But a great 100 damage can be awesome. Lose a prize, attach Scramble and evolve a Pikachu for a suprising KO.
Or use DRE - 90 damage for 2 energies is still very efficient.

Since Raieggs uses both these energies, this could make a welcome Teched addition.

Well, Raieggs makes very good use of Scramble anyway, so I can see it working there. Something with a similar bench-hit strategy would also be decent, I suppose, but you'd want to be able to get energy back from the discard pile - Delcatty ex CG or Ninetales d DF, for example.

Enter Magneton, you can get 'em back pretty quick with it's PP
