Me and a few other people are having a 24 marathon session using the 2nd generation games in a few weeks, starting from the beginning of the game and afterwards we're having a tournament with our final parties.
I've been doing some research trying to work out an ideal team that I could feasibly get in the given time and under the given circumstances. The most effective strategy I can figure is to get the pokemon to make my final team as early as possible, blast through all 16 badges as fast as I can then spend the remaining time grinding like a mofo. Based on this principle, here's the party/movesets that I've got down:
p { margin-bottom: 0.21cm; } Typhlosion – move set -Flamethrower, Strength, Earthquake, Flame Wheel
Aipom – move set – Rock Smash, Swift, Thief, Dynamic Punch
Ledian – move set – Dig, Supersonic, Comet Punch, Agility
Haunter – move set – Hypnosis, Night Shade, Dream Eater, Giga Drain
Magneton – move set – Tri Attack, Thundershock, Thunder Wave, Rollout
Quagsire – move set – Surf, Ice Punch, Sludge Bomb, Haze
If you have any comments/suggestions about how I could improve this lineup, or my overall game plan, that'd be great :)
