The World:
Spoiler:
The world of Pokémon, a dynamic place full of mysteries and legend. Balance in this fabulous world is kept by Pokémon with amazing abilities and power, called the legendary Pokémon. Humans interact with Pokémon on various ways, training them to battle, to perform in coordination shows and other activities. By their power which is hardly possible to control and importance to the world's balance, legendary Pokémon aren´t found with humans often, showing up only when the time is of urgent need.
But something is making the world lose its balance, natural disasters are often, and climate is changing. It all began to happen after one night, when a big spot of light that was visible in all parts of the Pokémon world divided in what looked to be 16 different rays of light. And they fell like falling stars. Expecting what would be a great treasure, scientists, treasure hunters, Pokémon trainers, and curious people in general began to search for the fallen stars.
Strangely, they had all fallen in an unexplored island, not habited except for the local tribes, ancient societies that roamed the wild environment present there. The island had the size of a continent, so the search could take some time. By those reasons the journey to find the "treasure" was a hard one. Moved by curiosity, adventure, and some by greed, many humans traveled to the island to be the ones to find the fallen stars. But they didn't last long. The lack of civilized buildings to heal their Pokémon and themselves, the roughness of the climate, and the untamed wilderness of the island proved too much. Only a small community stayed in one little village they created that they called Lianea, living in huts with an improvised Pokécenter and Pokémart, trying to support the ones that still dared to adventure the island. This new continent was later called Fallar.

You:
Spoiler:
You began training Pokémon not long ago, and you are preparing yourself to the journey most trainers do in order to win gym badges and participate in the Pokémon League, where the best trainers test their skills. Still, you fear that the journey may be affected by the recent natural disasters that have been happening all over the Pokémon world.
The night before the first day of adventure, you were outside looking to the vast world that was yours to explore. That night, you saw the light in the sky, shining with huge majesty and intensity before splitting into various rays of light. Wondering what it could be, you moved inside, to your room, so that you could sleep. Your sleep wasn't a peaceful one. You dreamt of a legendary Pokémon, who looked like Arceus, who kept telling you that you had to go to the new land, to find the fallen stars. He told you they were the key to restoring the world's balance.
Waking up, you get ready for your new day, believing that Arceus was just another dream. After all, what new land could he possibly be talking about? Taking breakfast you turn the TV on. Morning news were on, in what looked to be a last minute information. "New island discovered! It seems that one boat who went searching for the mysterious fallen stars has found new land! The owner of the boat is an old fisherman who swears that no land was found there before. Many people are already making their way to the island. Keep tuned for more information!"
Phoning to the boat company, they tell you that there are no places left in their boats, and that reservation can only be made to the next week. So you´ve got one week to prepare.
Will you restore balance to the world, and solve the mysteries behind the sudden appearance of a new continent and the story behind the fallen stars? Let the adventure begin.

Gameplay rules:
Spoiler:
- This is a dynamic Pokémon game, there will be no levels. I can tell you sometimes an estimated value, still it won´t be very important. Pokémon know all the attacks they learn naturally from their birth. The question is that they can´t use them properly in their full strength if they are untrained to do so. Think of it a bit like skill points. Let´s pick Charmander as an example. You can use flamethrower in the beginning of the game, still it would most probably result in a failure, since he wouldn't be able to concentrate the amount of energy needed for the attack. So it would prove way more ineffective than if you used a standard ember. As the Pokémon progresses on experience, he gets better using the attacks he uses the most. And the more experienced he is, the easier it will be for him to acquire stronger battle techniques. Egg moves or move tutor moves are not included in this. Those may be won on certain events that will happen in the world, or for great posting.
- When wanting to capture a Pokémon leave the post at ball rolling. Depending on various factors like rarity, difficulty to capture, the post itself I will let you know the outcome.
- Evolution will work also work by events, great posts, and a new factor, Pokémon personality that I will also explain.
- No catching legendary Pokémon.
- Characters will not find each other at the beggining of the game. They may even catch the same boat but they won´t interact. Interaction will be saved for later.
- Once you reach a certain place, I will place in the OOC thread a post talking about the place. That post will have information of areas of interest, Pokémon that can be found, and the environment that you find yourself into. As I want to dedicate to the world around you the most, I will not be playing the game, except for some NPC if I see the need to.
- The region is undiscovered, therefore there is no map. You must design it yourself as you progress the world, so that you can move faster if you need to return to a certain place.
- The world will be full of puzzles, and many possibilities. Remember you're playing a character and if you reach a place where another person has already solved the puzzle you can´t act like you already know it. Still, don´t give up visiting different areas, as there will be places only accessible on secret ways that will surely not be all discovered all in one time.
- The OOC thread will serve as a guide to know your current state. Pokémon, items, basically all that. When you post something new, depending on the quality and inovation of the post you may win something. If that happens I will post it on your OOC thread part, so check it often. Also registration is to be done in the OOC thread.
- I got most part of the puzzles worked out, but excellent posts and different ways to solve the puzzles than the ways I have thought will be rewarded, it may even get new possibilities in my head, and help the story expand, so go for it!
- The personality factor: The trainer and the Pokémon they caught will have a personality factor. Trainer will work on how they react to the world and different situations as a normal RPG game. Different happenings in the world may affect every being in a different way. That´s my base on Pokémon personality. The way it connects to you and the things you pass on as a trainer will be crucial for the Pokémon development, like evolution as an example.
- Im willing to answer any questions, if you think this concept hard to understand.
