Parched Lands
When all hope seems lost...
Story:
Spoiler:
When the god whispered in Warlord Raklion's heart his true mission, the warlord was at first thought that he himself had gone mad. However, when high godspeaker Nagarak read the omens, and told him exactly what the god told him, he was committed. With his wife, the Empress Hekat, Raklion smote all the other sinning cities, along with its blasphemous godspeakers. Mijak was united under the name of Et-Raklion. However, the god has further plans for Hekat, and his two sons, Zandakar and Dmitrik. When Raklion and Nagarak died, they were succeeded by Zandakar, the elder of the two sons, and Vortka, Zandakar's biological parent. Zandakar was not yet a man, and so Hekat was tasked to become the temporary warlord until the god says otherwise. The god whispered in Hekat's heart, that he also desired not only a united Mijak, but a single world. A world where all countries were at peace, and under his name. This became Hekat's dream, passed on to Zandakar and Dmitrik when Hekat perished. And they succeeded. They built a whole new world for their god, and they have pleased him.
Plot:
Spoiler:
Five centuries later, Mijak is ruled by Warlord Macardian, a warlord that hailed from the Dmitrik's lineage. Together with his wife, the Princess Damsel, they both ruled the world with merciful but unhesitating iron fists. The citizens of the regions respected them, even though they ruled only as the punishment-giver, and as figureheads.
The real ruler of the land of Mijak, along with the lands beyond it, is the Council of Five. The Council is composed of five very strong people in the politics. With their word, any man could fall dead. They are mostly feared than respected. However, Macardian trusted the people elected in the Council. He needs them to help him run the affairs of the kingdom from domestic living to warfare. They legislate the rules, they managed the finance, and they controlled the worships. They had their hand wrapped tightly around 90% of the world's happenings. And under them, despite the fear they generate in the hearts of the people, they were the one responsible for Mijak's golden age.
But, away from their eyes, from their omens and blood-reading, from their godtouched hearts, trouble is brewing. In the place called the Savage North, a place forsaken by the god and frequently touched by demons, the son of a banished warlord thrives. He calls himself Yazra, the "Forgotten Prince." He plots on many things, but refuses to act until he has the power to do so. And now, after fifteen years of waiting, he had amassed quite a size of a warhost. Four thousand soldiers, ready to die for Yazra. Ready to die to reclaim the throne that was once theirs.

Basic Things to Know About Mijak and the World:
Spoiler:
Mijak was once governed by seven warring warlords, but when Raklion and the god decided that they must unite under a single warlord, Mijak turned to a country. Now, under Macardian, Mijak thrives. The world is not a futuristic world, but rather a modern, medieval city.
Warhost is the Mijak equivalent for an army. A warhost must contain at least 2,000 soldiers. It is divided into groups, focusing on a single weapon, and shells, which is the Mijak equivalent of a troop composed of at least ten to fifteen members.
The weapons:
There are no days in Mijak; only highsuns. There are no months in Mijak: only godmoons. There are no sunsets nor sunrises in Mijak: only lowsuns. There are no nights in Mijak: Only quiet time, where nobody is allowed to walk the streets, except the smiting godspeakers.
A finger, the most common unit of measurement, can be used for anything. A finger in distance means a mile. A finger in time, means an hour. A finger in volume, means a liter. And a finger in mass, means a kilogram.
A godspeaker is the Mijaki equivalent of priest.

Archers and Slingshotters- They focus mainly on precision and stealth. One needs to be really agile to be an Archer. Their symbol is the scar of an arrow in their leg, dyed with crimson ink.
Spearmen- the strongest of all types of soldiers. They rely on their brute strength and force. Their symbol is the spear cut on their chest, dyed in deep blue ink.
