Scanblast is hindered mostly by the fact that the effect applies to Pokémon of the same name as the foe, which doesn't occur very often (and Metal Energy are hard to come by). Magnetic Redraw, though, is nice; there go Elm, Oak, and the Imposters. Maybe good in a stall environment, but not reaching the potential we'd really like. And of course, it's an EX.

Another useless ex in this series...

First of all - it's 4 x RC is absolutely overkill for only 150 HP and 2 most common weaknesses... (Why is it weak to fighting =o=?)

Also it has only 1 attack with a cost of 2 M energy, and the damage isn't that great. It's side effect is interesting, but not entirely useful - who plays all the same cards at the same time anyways...

The power is just for LOL... or maybe changing your holding cards, but it also benefits/hinders your opponent the same way... Plus, a 4 card hand isn't that helpful, especially when you don't get any energy cards in the draw...

4/10 - It should have another faster attack and less RC.
