    Nintendo's Online Press Room is down right now. Drat, I want to see the high res pictures! T_T;

    *drools at Zelda pics*

Ew at Animal Crossing DS' bottom screen. It looked better at E3 last year, hopefully they'll fix that up again. Online Animal Crossing will be amazing, especially since it's portable. An entire world in your hand. ^^

I just watched the new Zelda video. Last year at E3 I was incredibly spazzy and hyper after watching that video. Marching around the house humming the Zelda theme for the rest of the night. And today, what is my reaction?

    ...

MY BABY'S FINALLY GROWN UP!!! ^^

That looked amazing. I don't just mean the graphics, just the overall look. It looks dark, thank God. We had a dark Zelda, MM. And this looks like it'll blow it away. The Goron looked very nice, the Stalfoses were *drool*, the Bokoblins, Tektites, what was possibly Gohma. Everything. My beloved series has grown up finally and I feel like a freaking proud parent. The music...anyone know if that's from a movie? The previous trailer's music was from Conan the Barbarian. Was this? If not..then we may have orchestrated music in a Zelda game finally. Good God I command all you to watch the trailer. *spazzyspazzyspazzyexplodes*

Thank you Golden Goddesses. May the way of the Hero lead to the Triforce! ^^

    One word: WOW!

Nintendo's surperb performance renewed my faith in my purchased DS, the future Revolution, and that Nintendo is still in the game.

    About the DS:

Promised WiFi! This is what I'd been waiting to hear for a looooooong time! AC DS is a perfect fit, and WOW! Its like a MMOC [Massively Multi-player Online Community] that shows a lot of promise, on a FREAK'N HANDHELD NO LESS! WiFi is going to PWN so bad...man...I just can't wait!

Nintendogs also looks like a bunch of fun! =3 I mean, who could resist puppies? I always loved my Tamagotchi [I bought one of the new ones] and so I'm a sucker for virtual pet games. Definetly going to be a game in my library, though maybe not a must have.

Electro Plankton 0.o;; Another WOW. Only Nintendo...only Nintendo. Not that that's a bad thing. My eyes are on this game. They got my attention.

    On the Revolution-
WiFi guarunteed my hopes had come true! Even Reggie admited his mistake [at his 1up.com interview] about the GCN not being online compatible. Way to go Nintendo! He also said that the Revolution is going to be "Sexy" and that it will be a huge part of their E3 Show. He also swore a lot xD

    On LoZ-
*...drool...drool...drool...* I'm not quite as excited as Triforce89, but, WOW! *...drool...drool...drool...* Ok, maybe I am! w00t! Go Nintendo! *...drool...drool...drool...*

    Take that Nintendo doubters/haters!

    Nintendo's Gaming Revolution

All of this is from Nintendo Official Magazine UK, and has been confirmed by Nintendo (well, apart from the opinions XD):

    Nintendo Official Magazine UK said:
Revolution will play 'Cube games and DS will go online sooner than you think - that was the astonishing news from President of Nintendo, Mr. Satoru Iawata, in his speech to the Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Fransisco.
Speculation about Nintendo's next home console, codenamed Revolution, has been rife for months, but Mr. Iawata delivered the first concrete details about GameCube's successor.
In addition to playing 'Cube classics like Metroid Prime 2, Mr. Iawata said the machine will be able to play games online from day one, demonstrating that Nintendo feels the right infrastructure is now in online play.
The jaw-dropping news didn't stop there as Mr. Iawata announced Nintendo was partnering with IBM and ATI to develop Revolution's hardware. IBM will work on the CPU, codenamed Broadway, with ATI, which developed the 'Cube's graphics chip, working on one for Revolution, codenamed Hollywood. Mr. Iawata said: "Broadway is the capital of live entertainment, Hollywood is the capital of movie entertainment. With Revolution we will create the new capital of interactive entertainment."
With Revolution development firmly underway, Mr. Iawata said future first-party gamers will come from "larger internal development teams", but was quick to add Nintendo will be relying on third party publishers to work on Revolution by expanding their developmental reach.
The news didn't stop there as Mr. Iawata said that DS owners should be able to connect wirelessly at 'hotspots' in use all over the world to play online. First to support this feature will be Animal Crossing DS.
With this news still ringing in delegates' ears, Mr. Iawata then unveiled a brand-new Zelda trailer (which I would have showed... but my scanner screwed up the picture) and wrapped up by declaring that more details on Revolution and wireless DS networks would be unveiled at E3 in May: "This is Nintendo's plan - make our existing game world better. For us this is a passion. This is a mission of adventure."
After GDC, Mr. Iawata hinted at the Revolution's capabilities in an interview with respected journal Business Week: "The interface will allow some new forms of innovation. Already you're seeing changes in Nintendo DS, which has a microphone and touch screen. We have a number of candidates for a new interface, but are not ready to unveil them. Whatever we choose will be inituitive and easy to use for everyone."
When pushed on whether voice command is one of these candidates, Mr. Iawata said: "Voice command makes games better because it can alter how the game is played. But the fact of the matter is to realise voice commands all you have to do is install a microphone. We realise a few of our competitors are already thinking of following us on this, so it will not be a defining feature of the new console."
If you live in the UK, and want to know more about the Zelda trailer, you must get this magazine er... as soon as it comes out (I think in 2 weeks time)

So... what does everyone think? ^_^

The Revolution sounds like a good console for Nintendo. I like it, as Nintendo is going for originality here, which is important in this market. Also, I do like the part where you could play GameCube games on it, so you don't have to sell them all as you can't play them anymore. I am interested in those Hot Spots on what they could do for all games (including Diamond and Pearl, of course)

Lol This is old news now. If you want to see the trailer...go here and choose your bandwidth; you need QuickTime.

The rest of this was already posted in either my Revolution Speculation thread or in the various post-GDC threads that popped up after the already named event.

Most of this has been talked about already in here (with the exception of the online play parts) and it's under 30 days old. So please use that one. *locks* Or should I merge? Hmm... *thinks* I think I'll merge. A first for me. Let's see how this works. Lol.

o.o I even searched for it and that thread didn't come up -_- *mumbles curse words abot vBulletin's search function*

I really can't wait for Animal Crossing Online...*stares at the screenshots*
