I think a lot of the eerie music plays into the spookiness of the places. I remember having to turn my sound off when I got to the path leading up to where Giratina was in Diamond and Pearl (Spring Path). I know it's the same music as Old Chateau but the area was just a plain forest path and I was scared of potential jumpscares.
