Ditto and the names of Gen. II Pokémon have been uncovered in Pokémon GO's code!

I would like to say most players expected this, but at least now we have confirmation regarding the direction of future updates.

With daily bonuses/rewards now in effect, in-game tracker made available to much of the U.S. west coast, fingers are crossed for big hefty updates as we approach the holiday season.

Yaaaaaaayyyyyyy!!!!!!! I've been wanting gen 2 Pokémon since a couple of weeks after the game's release. I love gen 2 Pokémon and I've got loads of candy saved up for Pokémon like Politoed, Crobat, Espeon and Umbreon ready to evolve straight away.

Oh, you can bet I'm prepping for Gen. II {XD} I'm imagining they'll consolidate Hitmonlee/Hitmonchan candies to Tyrogue candies. I'm also hoping split evolutions (e.g. Gloom to Vileplume/Bellossom, Poliwhirl to Poliwrath/Politoed, and Slowpoke to Slowbro/Slowking) won't end up as a random coin toss like Eeveelutions, but if that's the case, all the more reason to stockpile candies.

...The only one I really lack is Porygon candies since I've never hatched one before. I'm not too worried about evolving one as of yet since I don't even have one with high enough IVs to justify it.
