Imagine a Pokémon Yellow Reboot

Imagine it.

With the distribution of Ash Hat Pikachu along the way, you got to consider how much love Pikachu has (always) been getting. Especially how GF/Nintendo have been highlighting Generation One. So the possibility of a Pokémon Yellow Reboot could be more likely than it seems.

So what if Pokémon Yellow gets a remake? Thoughts? Would you buy it?

I probably wouldn't it because I don't like the anime much.

I'd much rather prefer a reboot of the originals. (They haven't been updates since 2006!)

Not a fan of the idea tbh. I don't really like Pikachu and its continual presence just annoys me, especially when Game Freak insist on using its irritating anime cry instead of an actual proper game one in the recent generations (which completely clashes with every other cry in the game). At least in other games I can just pretend Pikachu doesn't exist, in a Yellow remake I wouldn't even have that luxury.

I mean, I'd play it. I wouldn't miss a main series game, but there are sooooo many cooler things they could be doing.

Although I would really like the idea of a Yellow reboot, I would much refer a reboot of the original Red and Blue. Don't get me wrong, I like what Yellow does, but I prefer creating my own stories in Pokemon, and with the protagonist being Ash from the anime I can't seem to do that as much, seeing Kanto on the new engine would be amazing though.

If it came out much later then sure but for now would rather return to Sinnoh.
