This is an expert guide , if you didn't know about Effort value training or Nature of a pokemon , head back before watching this .

A perfect pokemon team should always have perfect nature and perfect Individual Value of stats .

How do I pick 6 perfect pokemons ?

I use pokemons that is high stat and can learn many moves .

I see some players simply raise low stats pokemon , or some players that raise each element 's pokemon ( Fire Thunder Ice Water Dragon or something )

In my opinion , elements pokemons only learn few moves of its own element , and with low stat , they can't beat high stat pokemon . They can't kill high stats pokemon with one hit even it is super effective .

    High stats pokemons ? ( Rayquaza , Groundon , Latios , Salamance , Milotic , Swampert , Metagross , Gyarados )

The more the maximum experience require to reach lvl 100 of a pokemon , the stronger it will be .

All pokemons above requires 1250000 exp to get lvl 100 except for milotic because it is hard to get .

High stat pokemon trainer can always win element pokemon trainer if their move set is perfect .

    Let say my rayquaza ......

is a Dragon , Flying type

    Weakness : Ice , Rock , Dragon

To counter the weakness , I must learn moves which is super effective to 3 elements above .
    Ice : Flamethrower
    Rock : Surf
    Dragon : Outrage

And the final slot must be a special attack moves too . Because 3 moves above are special attack , so your rayquaza must have a sp.atk nature , sp.atk ev training .

Also ev train speed , it is important .

The nature you pick increase sp.atk , but decrease some stat which is not important ( Def Atk Sp.Def is not important , except for speed , your rayquaza better be not Quiet nature )

After giving perfect movesets for rayquaza , elements pokemon which can kill rayquaza can't kill rayquaza easily .

    Confuse about a moveset ?

Let 's have another example .

First pick perfect nature , pick perfect high stat pokemon , choose move sets that encounter his weakness or the pokemon 's element 's moves , Ev train the pokemon .

    Metagross : Steel Psychic

    Weakness : Fire , Ground

    Move set :

    Fire : Earthquake
Ground : Impossible to counter ( He can't learn water , ice or grass moves )

    Other moves I suggested

    Meteor Mash
    Psychic
    Sludge Bomb / Shadow Ball

So if your metagross are dealing with a ground pokemon , switch to flying pokemon so opponent will miss the ground attack , then launch the counter attack .

Of course , not all high stat pokemon are fighting machine , play some offense pokemon .

    Milotic : Water

    Weakness : Electric , Grass

He can't counter any of his weakness , so must play offense .

Electric and Grass are both sp.atk , so ev train sp.def and hp .

    My milotic has 4++ hp and 4++ sp.def with a sp.def nature .

    Moves :

    Calm Mind
    Recover
    Surf
    Ice Beam

No pokemon can hurt more than half of this milotic 's hitpoint ( Because my 456 Sp.atk rayquaza use thunder on him , the hp didn't even reach half )

First move calm mind , then recover then calm mind then recover , when you increase many sp.atk and sp.def and opponent can't kill you , kill opponent .

This pokemon is almost immortal by playing as a tanker , unless it gets critical hit .

Low stats pokemon like Walrien learn less moves , many weakness ( Fighting , Thunder , Grass , Rock ) , low stats in sp.attack , could never win a high stat pokemons .

Get a better pokemon team in every pokemon games you play ? Make your choice !
