6th Pokemon in my Roster

I am having the hardest time choosing the Pokemon to fill my last slot in Gold.

I already have:

Vaporeon lvl 65
Alakazam lvl 57
Ampharos lvl 61
Skarmory lvl 54
Heracross lvl 55

I have gone through Umbreon, Vileplume, Venusaur, Snorlax, Quagsire, and various others. I like to stay away from anything legendary, and have considered Crobat, Arcanine, Ninetales, Kingdra, and a Marowak. I'm really indecisive at this point and cannot make a decision. I'm not a huge fan of fire-type even though I was considering two.

I am also trying to avoid doubling up on type in my roster. Anyways, any help or suggestion is appreciated!

dont have fire/ice type in ur list so i suggest u growlithe or swinub..both is quite nice in attack....:)

I suggest Arcanine. It's a pretty decent fire-type and if you get the right moveset it can hurt a lot of types.

I considered Arcanine, but now I'm leaning towards Magmar (female) for this moveset:

Attract
Confuse Ray
Flamethrower
Thunderpunch

Thoughts?

Swinub sounds good for your team, because it fills your Ground, and Ice type gaps.

If your using Magmar, I would suggest Thunderpunch and Fire Punch or Flamethrower and something else Specially based, but not Thunderpunch and Flamethrower.
