"A Chansey Operation" Episode Discussion

I get the feeling that those huge needles wouldn't be allowed in new episodes XD
 
Anyone who is hating on Togepi for "ruining Misty's character by creating a motherly heart" should watch this episode, because this episode is a PERFECT example as to how Misty's "Motherly, Kind heart" was not created by Togepi, and how she had it before Togepi even came into being!

Sorry for that remark, but it always annoys me as to how so many people seem to claim that Togepi "butchered" Misty's character by giving her a motherly, kind heart, seeing how it's inaccurate ("giving" her one means she never had one to begin with, which, as this episode shows, is far from accurate. All Togepi did was just expand it.).

Anyways, very good episode. my only dislike about the episode was how Proctor was just flat-out irresponsible (and pretty much a womanizer.). However, at least Misty just asked and he let her in, rather than just randomly stripping just to let them in [unlike characters such as, oh, Bulma, some of the LH characters, etc. etc.). I do have this to ask, though: Did Meowth "regrow" his charm, or did his charm just get folded down under a bunch of skin (It seemed to go either way.).

Misty sucked even without Togepi there to make it worse. >.>

I love this episode so much! XD It's so funny. Doctor Doc/Proctor was hilarious. He was even more of a womanizer than Takeshi/Brock! And I loved Takeshi's comment "I don't like him, he's a lot like me". XD Lolz.

Err... Look, you may not like Misty or Togepi, but could you at least try to do it in a non-flaming fashion? I mean, there ARE Misty fans on here. I mean, how would you feel if I said something really nasty about Shinji right now?

Well, I agree with Brock. I think I hate Proctor more than Brock due to that (I just don't like people of my own gender treating women like objects or feeling that they are inferior. It puts us Heterosexual males in a very bad light.).
 
Well, to refresh my memory I saw the first part on YouTube, and all I gotta say is, that doctor guy kinda creeps me out...Wonder why 4Kids didn't go and edit him out or something? xP And how the hey did Pikahu swallow a whole apple? xD

Meowth: Waah!! I lost the gold charm on my forehead!!

That's what I mean. and most of the references of her personality being "sucked away" by togepi was in regards to her becoming motherly and kind hearted. That's why I made the comment in regards to this episode.
 
But being motherly and kind hearted isn't the same as having no personality...
 
No, the complaint was that Kasumi didn't really do as much as she could because of Togepi. This is putting nicely though.
