A n00b requests help

hello! im a newbie to the pokecommunity website, and joined because i want to become a feared competitive battler. my team is really unimpressive, and im tired of being stomed by swamperts and heatrans all the time, so if you guys could offer any help i would very much appreciate that. my team so far is:

this is my team so far, obviously, i need more members, i was thinking gyarados, and i may need to drop togekiss, so, if anyone has any advice they want to give, im all ears!​

What you're wanting is something that could be a bit more facilitated over in the Strategies and Movesets board, however, this particular thread isn't really gonna cut it as a stand-alone thread over there, so I'm afraid I can't move it.

I'd suggest going over to Strategies and Movesets and reading up on the board-specific rules there. Once you've done that, you can make a proper thread and you'll be well on your way to competitive perfection.
