Well I made a team and I'm not really sure if it's good, so here they are. Please give constructive criticism.

    1.Aerodactyl
    Move 1: Stone Edge
    Move 2: Earthquake
    Move 3: Aqua Tail
    Move 4: Flamethrower
    Nature: Hasty +Spd -Def
    Item: Life orb
    Ability: Pressure
    EV's: 4 HP/252 Spd/ 252 Atk

He's here because I like his speed and his type coverage.

    2.Alakazam
    Move 1: Psychic
    Move 2: Focus Blast
    Move 3: Shadow Ball
    Move 4: Recover
    Nature: Timid +Spd -Attack
    Item: Life Orb
    Ability: Synchronize
    EV's: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk

I have a Alakazam, yeah, yeah, not original, but at least I know he's good. I also got him for more of a SAtk Pokemon even though I have a Gallade.

    3.Salamance
    Move 1: Dragon Pulse
    Move 2: Hydro pump
    Move 3: Draco Meteor
    Move 4: Flamethrower
    Nature: Modest +SAtk -Atk
    Item: Choice-Specs
    Ability: Intimidate
    EV's: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk

Here because he knows good moves and is a over-all strong Pokemon.

    4.Gallade
    Move 1: Close Combat
    Move 2: Night Slash
    Move 3: Thunder Wave
    Move 4: Psycho Cut
    Nature: Adamant +Atk -SAtk
    Item: Expert Belt
    Ability: Steadfast
    EV's: 236 HP/20 SDef/252 Atk

I have 2 psychics for a reasons. 1st of all like I said above I wanted him because of his strong Atk and Kazam's SAtk. The other reason is with this team I made sure that I had at least two moves to kill each type.

    5.Torterra
    Move 1: Wood Hammer
    Move 2: Earthquake
    Move 3: Stealth Rock
    Move 4: Synthesis
    Nature: Impish +Def -SAtk
    Item: Leftovers
    Ability: Overgrow
    EV's: 252 HP/148 Atk/ 108 Def

I added a torterra to the crew when I had five and like I said I wanted two good moves on each type and I only had one on both water and electric. Torterra was the only Pokemon that fit that description.

    6.Lapras
    Move 1: Ice Beam
    Move 2: Sing
    Move 3: Surf
    Move 4: Thunderbolt
    Nature: Modest +SAtk -Atk
    Item: Leftovers
    Ability: Water Absorb
    EV's: 216 Def/198 SAtk/96 SDef

What can I say? It's a nice defensive Pokemon that covers some types and can put a pokemon into submission. I also like it that if people don't know the moveset of a lapras, I can send it out to fight a water type and they will have some trouble with that thunderbolt.

Please help achieve a great team with some constructive criticism.

About your Aero lead.. What is the purpose of it?
If you're going to use Heat Wave at all (And with Aero's Sp. Attack stat of 60, let's face it, it's not very sexy), it will deal crappy damage.
My bet would've been that you're trying to nail Skarmory on the switch, but as it stands now, it goes like this:
    140 Atk vs 176 Def & 334 HP (100 Base Power): (34.13% - 40.72%)

First, use Fire Blast, it's only a 5% accuracy loss for 20% more power, and slap on a Life Orb, so that you might actually 2HKO that metallic bird, and OHKO Forry.
Also, use Hasty over Jolly, you really don't want to lower Fire Blasts power.
Here's what Fire Blast would do w/o a hindering nature against the same Skarmory:
    156 Atk vs 176 Def & 334 HP (120 Base Power): (59.88% - 70.66%)

I can't help you anymore, due to my lack of expertice.

Why Haet Wawe to Aerodactyl? It has a horrible special attack, and it also has a personality that lowers her special attack, it uses the standard:

    *image removed*
    Aerodactyl (M) @ Focus Sash
    Trait: Pressure
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
    Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
    - Taunt
    - Stealth Rock
    - Earthquake
    - Stone Edge

Sorry if the Aerodactyl is lead, I don't really know which one I should put first, it just happened to be the first one I typed out. Again I'll need some more help I'm new to teams and such.

    Hello

    1.Aerodactyl
    Move 1: Stone Edge
    Move 2: Earthquake
    Move 3: Aqua Tail
    Move 4: Flamethrower
    Nature: Hasty +Spd -Def
    Item: Life orb
    Ability: Pressure
    EV's: 4 HP/252 Spd/ 252 Atk

He's here because I like his speed and his type coverage.

Aero has no special attack. If you want to use him as a lead, most use this set:

    Aerodactyl (Jolly) item focus sash

    Stone Edge
    Earthquake
    Stealth Rock
    Taunt

You have the right ev's. If you don't want to use him as a lead, you could use him as a choice band/scarfed for latter rounds and use 4 attacks.

    2.Alakazam
    Move 1: Psychic
    Move 2: Focus Blast
    Move 3: Shadow Ball
    Move 4: Recover
    Nature: Timid +Spd -Attack
    Item: Life Orb
    Ability: Synchronize
    EV's: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk

I have a Alakazam, yeah, yeah, not original, but at least I know he's good. I also got him for more of a SAtk Pokemon even though I have a Gallade.

Drop recover, Alakazam is really frail to take any hits to take advantage of recover. Use choice specs/choice scarf for item. Use maybe hidden power for last slot instead of recover.

    3.Salamance
    Move 1: Dragon Pulse
    Move 2: Hydro pump
    Move 3: Draco Meteor
    Move 4: Flamethrower
    Nature: Modest +SAtk -Atk
    Item: Choice-Specs
    Ability: Intimidate
    EV's: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk

Here because he knows good moves and is a over-all strong Pokemon.

    I think this looks good.

    4.Gallade
    Move 1: Close Combat
    Move 2: Night Slash
    Move 3: Thunder Wave
    Move 4: Psycho Cut
    Nature: Adamant +Atk -SAtk
    Item: Expert Belt
    Ability: Steadfast
    EV's: 236 HP/20 SDef/252 Atk

I have 2 psychics for a reasons. 1st of all like I said above I wanted him because of his strong Atk and Kazam's SAtk. The other reason is with this team I made sure that I had at least two moves to kill each type.

Might consider using shadow sneak and swords dance on Gallade.

    5.Torterra
    Move 1: Wood Hammer
    Move 2: Earthquake
    Move 3: Stealth Rock
    Move 4: Synthesis
    Nature: Impish +Def -SAtk
    Item: Leftovers
    Ability: Overgrow
    EV's: 252 HP/148 Atk/ 108 Def

I added a torterra to the crew when I had five and like I said I wanted two good moves on each type and I only had one on both water and electric. Torterra was the only Pokemon that fit that description.

    Ok.

    6.Lapras
    Move 1: Ice Beam
    Move 2: Sing
    Move 3: Surf
    Move 4: Thunderbolt
    Nature: Modest +SAtk -Atk
    Item: Leftovers
    Ability: Water Absorb
    EV's: 216 Def/198 SAtk/96 SDef

What can I say? It's a nice defensive Pokemon that covers some types and can put a pokemon into submission. I also like it that if people don't know the moveset of a lapras, I can send it out to fight a water type and they will have some trouble with that thunderbolt.

Might need to stick more evs into hp for lapras.

Lots of people expect thunderbolt on lapras and starmie, and sing has horrible accuracy.
I would suggest another bulky water like Suicune or Vaporeon over lapras

Replace that aerodactyl with the suicide lead already suggested,

    can't argue over salamence

Alakazam can't take hits worth crap, make specs or scarf user, or a late game sweeper, but make sure all priority move users on the opposing team are knocked out

Gengar and Rotom, and possibly Mismagius can strike with STAB Shadow Balls on Alakazam and Gallade easy

If Aerodactyl is leading, you have no need for another stealth rock user. Replace with a spin blocker,
Rotom-H would do a great job, check smogon for EV's and moveset

thats all i have to say. I have identified weaknesses, but i am not great at suggesting substitutions

You might want to watch out for item clauses if that'll be a problem. Other than that, I'd say Sing on Lapras may not be attractive. If your Lapras is going to be used for more defensive purposes, try Toxic. You could outstall your opponent and better accuracy. Or switch it to another Water Pokemon that could use Thunder Wave. The only thing that can resist TW is ground types, who wouldn't want to switch into a Water type normally.
