just to let all of you know... this is what I saw on the Pokémon Global Link...

The Pokémon Global Link is getting a tune-up in readiness for the Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2 games.

Starting September 25, the Pokémon Global Link site will enter an extended maintenance period. During this time, none of the services of the Pokémon Global Link will be available, including the Pokémon Dream World, Global Battle Union Wi-Fi Competitions, and Game Sync linking. Remember to wake up any sleeping Pokémon before the maintenance period begins!
The Pokémon Global Link will be available again starting October 3, in time for the Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2 games, which launch on October 7!

a side note... I don't know what will happen if you don't wake your Pokémon up, but I'm assuming you'll lose it!!!!

Hmm. Tempting to leave a Lv.2 Lillipup in there, it is...

I guess this is a bad thing, but I hated B&W and never played it, so whatever. :P

Its the B2W2 update for the Global Battle Union.

That message always appears when they do that.

As for things left in it, I think they get deleted. Last time that message appeared my berry thing did a rollback. I had accidentally planted some berries before the update and when I got back on after the update, the berries weren't being grown, and were back in my inventory.

Could also cause an error and not allow you to put another Pokemon to sleep as it won't recognize you waking them up and you may not be able to wake one up after that.

For those who forget, is there any way to resync the account (with no sleeping Pokémon) with your system? Would the system not say hey, there's no one sleeping here, let's correct this in the game? After all, you got your berries back.

No because your game sent out the data that was received by the Wifi terminal, but the Pokemon gets deleted from the terminal and had no place to return to (Mine was more like a rollback) since the Pokemon is from an outside source.

Kinda like how you'd lose information on your Pokewalker when you start a new game or lose your walker.

You can reset the Pokemon back at what it was before but as far as I can tell you can't do that with Dream World.
