A Pokemon Retrospective?

This is something that I've recently been wanting to do ever since getting back into the games a few weeks back.

But I've mainly been wanting to do a retrospective on the entire series of games, the anime and everything else related to it up to this point.

How I'm planning to do this is to spend a bit of time talking about a certain point in it regarding the year it came out.

For example, if I were to be talking about the 2000 era, I'd talk about the anime season that came out at the time, it's subsequent movie and the hype behind it, the metal generation of games, Stadium, Puzzle Challenge League and Snap.

But the thing is I can't exactly do a complete one since when the whole thing started I was still an infant at the time, so if anybody is willing to help me out with this in any way, that'd be great

I'm just pitching this idea to you all, feel free to make use of what I've said so far and make adjustments and additions to it, since I know it's not perfect, in fact it's probably far from it, and I want to get all of you involved as much as possible.

I'm down, I was 10 when I started playing pokemon in the Red, Blue, and Yellow days. I followed all the hype. The show, the movie, and all of the games. I stopped seeing the movies and shows after the gold and silver period however. So for anything after Gold and Silver was only the games for me.
