A Pokemon Shooter: How Bad Ass Would That Be?

    I would like to see a pokemon shooter, even though Im not a fan of the wii at all, (PS3 All The Way) with it's wii mote and a solid foundation with the pokemon genre, I think a Pokemon shooter would work. Wouldn't controlling a Blastoise's cannons be fun? or even a Pikachu and direct the thunder to your own will? They already did a game that you directly control the pokemon, why not control it to the full extent?

    No, I think it would be a totally failure.

    Im clearly aware of that, but Nintendo better make up a new system to keep pokemon competing with PS3 and 360
     
    If it was hunting it could be interesting, especially as each Pokémon has it's own way of defending, but I doubt anyone could get permission for that :X
     
    I'd play it. I love shooter games and Pokémon, so seeing my favourite Pokémon battle to the death in a 3rd-person view would be awesome. Some people might think it's gross or sick, but killing cartoons is better than killing real people, right? Just draw 'em again! :3

    And yes, it would be pretty bad-ass.

    I agree with you for I think it would be funny to shoot a "cute" little Pikachu and have an overdone volcano of blood coming out of it, personally. It would just be awesome.
    You know the game would be a commercial failure with all the little kids that have had happy morals stuffed down their throats but people with a sense of humor would enjoy it and so would Pokémon haters.

    Aha, yeah. That kind of stuff can be fun at times.

    And maybe Nintendo wouldn't make it, but someone who's willing to get sued would. :3
     
    This thread just seems like it's going in a bad direction. I'll allow it to stay, since both opinions have good points, but if it gets out of hand, I'm closing it.
     
    I could see if it were to be a mini game in like Pokemon Stadium but anything else would suck balls.
     
    I don't know why people are taking this thread so sensitively. I think its quite funny. :)
    Although I'm 100% sure there will never be a game like this for pokemon, I can't help but laugh at the thought of hunting Cleffas and Igglybuffs.
     
    I mean not literal shooting, but the player controlling the actual pokemon and aiming the attacks with the wiimote... I personally think thats a great Idea. Why have a console with that technology and not make a game that almost defines the company that uses that technology...
