Part 1: Down the Hole we go

It was a bright and sunny day. We had just gotten out of school. Brittany, David, Josh and I were chatting. I realized that I had forgotten something and needed to get it out of my Ford Mustang. I was walking backwards talking not knowing that a mysterious black hole leading to an unknown world had opened up behind me. "I just need to get something out of my car, I'll be right baaaaaaaaaaaaaack!" I screamed as I tripped and fell down the hole. "Did you hear a scream or something?" Brittany asked. "I think I did. Where's Menelik?" David asked. Brittany turned around and saw the hole. "I think he might have fallen down this hole." Brittany deduced. "Let's go in it." Josh said. "No way! Who knows where it will lead to." Brittany snapped. "I just hope that Menelik's okay." David said. "Minus well go in, just for the safety of our friend." David added. "Oh, okay." Brittany said. So they jumped in the hole.

Down, down, down we went. I turned myself to see what was ahead. Ahead, was a huge island with a giant statue of two pokemon I recognized. I continued to fall until I landed hard on the ground. I was knocked out cold for about a minute. I then wake up slowly. I check myself to see if I'm okay. Surprisingly, my body was yellow. "No way!" I shouted. I was a Pikachu! I then looked around. There was a sign with an arrow pointing north, which said "To PokePark". Just then, I hear two screams coming from somewhere followed by a thud.

When I finally arrived at where the screams were coming from, I see three pokemon all in a pile. They were another Pikachu, a Charmander and a Squirtle. "Where are we?" The Pikachu asked. "I don't know, some sort of island." The Charmander said. "We're in the PokePark." I answered. "Huh? Menelik, is that you?" The Pikachu asked. "Uh, yeah, it's me alright. So then you must be Brittany." I answered. "You're a Pikachu as well." I added. "That Charmander must be David and that Squirtle must be Josh." I further added. "Knights of Columbus! How'd you know?" Josh asked. "Your personality matches the one of a squirtle." I answered. "Let's head north, that's where the entrance of the PokePark is." I said. So we headed north and found a Chatot perched on a twig. "Maybe that pokemon may know something about the PokePark." Josh supposed. So we decided to ask the Chatot for information.

Part 2: The Orientation and The Adventure begins

"Hello?" I said to the Chatot. The Chatot turned around and looked at us. "Ah, hello, I've been looking forward to meet you four." The Chatot said joyfully. "What? You've looked forward to our arrival even before we were sent down a mysterious black hole?" Brittany asked. "Yes, Mew, a mysterious pokemon who only appears on certain occasions, which are very rare knows about you four. He is one of the smartest pokemon in the PokePark. Unfortunately, he is trying to save the PokePark, which has not gone that well I'm afraid. You see, in order for the PokePark to stay balanced, the sky prism must be together. However, it broke and 14 pieces scattered around the PokePark." Chatot explained. "Whoa, that just like flew over my head." Brittany said. "So you mean, that we were sent here, to save the PokePark from being destroyed?" Josh asked. "Yes." Chatot answered. "Anyway, the pokemon in the PokePark love to befriend others. However, the only way to befriend them is to challenge them to a skill game." Chatot further explained. "So, if I wanted to befriend you, I would have to challenge you then." I said. "Correct." Chatot said. "Without further ado, let's start the challenge." Chatot said. "Because I am a flying type of adequate speed, I choose chase." Chatot declared. "I'll take this one." I said. So Chatot and I took our places and the chase began. Chatot had a big lead. I wasn't until I discovered I could dash into things. I then caught up to Chatot and tackled him down. "Whew, that was exhausting." I said. "Well, since you won, I'm your friend now." Chatot said. "Nice." Josh said. "You can find me anywhere in the PokePark. Just talk to me and I'll give you as much info as I can." Chatot said as he flew away. "Well, shall we move on?" David asked. "Alright then." I said.

As we neared an entrance, we saw a giant pokemon blocking the path and a small rabbit-like pokemon standing near it. The giant pokemon was a Snorlax and the little one, a Buneary. "How can we get past? This huge thing is blocking it." Josh asked. "That's what I'm trying to figure out." The Buneary suddenly said. Suddenly my pouches began to crackle. "Whoa, how'd you do that?" Brittany asked. "I don't know." I said. I tried charging and I felt more energized. I then accidentally let out the energy in a Thunderbolt and almost hit Josh. "Dude! Watch where you're aiming." Josh exclaimed. "My bad." I said. "Aim it at that giant whatever it's called." David said. So I aimed a thunderbolt at the Snorlax and hit it. When I hit it, the Snorlax suddenly woke up and moved out of our way. It then plumped itself back on the ground and continued to sleep. The path was open and we moved on fourth.

    Part 3: A Daring Move

After one mile, we arrived at the Meadow Zone. There, we saw many pokemon playing with each other. "This place is nice." I said. Just then, a Pachurisu walked right up to me. "Can you play with me, please?" It asked. "Why not." I said. "Let's play chase." It said. "Here we go again." Brittany said. So the Pachurisu and I took our places and the chase began. It was longer than the one with Chatot, but I still managed to take it down. The Pachurisu befriended us. The Pachurisu then told us that a pair of Shinx has arrived to play.

As we were heading north, we saw a bulbasaur standing next to a sign. "What's this?" I asked. "This is what they call an attraction. I host this one. It is called "Bulbasaur's Daring Dash." Unfortunately you can't play it right now." The bulbasaur said. "Why not? I wanna give it a shot." Brittany said. "Does Brittany realize she's taking a risk? Who knows what will happen." Josh said to David. "Tell you what, I'll let you play it secretly. I won't tell Venosaur about this one." Bulbasaur said. "Sweet!" Brittany said. So we followed the Bulbasaur through some bushes and a 100m track was revealed not knowing that Mankey, one of Venosaur's assistants was keeping a sharp watch.

Brittany took her place. "The object of this game is to beat your record. A Pikachu's record is ten seconds." Bulbasaur explained. The signal sounded and away they went. Brittany had a huge lead on the other pokemon. She completed the race in seven seconds. Since she cleared her record, she was given 100 berries plus a prism piece. When we came out, we headed north. Just then, we heard a voice that said, "Ugh, let go of me!". We turned around and saw Brittany in the hands of a Mankey being carried away. "Dang it! That's why she shouldn't have played it in the first place!" I grunted.

So we followed the Mankey but we were too late. The Mankey went past a gate, which a Crogunk was guarding. "If you want to pass, you will need 500 berries." It said. "Five hundred? Knights of Columbus! What are you gonna do with all of those?" Josh asked surprised. As we went farther away from the gate, we saw a Mankey walking around. We decided to talk to it. He said he and the other Mankey around would be our friends if I defeat it in a battle. "I got this one." I said. The Mankey and I took our places. The Mankey then charged at me. I happened to have a thunderbolt ready. I hit it just as it was about to hit me. I then followed up with a dash-attack. One last thunderbolt finished it off. The Mankey was our friend now. It then said that some Aipom have come to play. "How's about we split up." David said. "That's a good idea. Let's round up as many friends as we can. That way, we can get as many berries…wait a sec! Remember Brittany won 100 berries because she beat her record?" I asked. "Yeah!" David said. "How about this, once we befriend the pokemon, report to Bulbasaur and let that pokemon play so that it can get 100 berries for us!" I said. "That's an awesome idea." Josh said. So we executed the plan.

As I was walking, I saw a Leafeon sunbathing. "Hey, want to play a skill game with me?" I asked. "Since you have a lot of friends, I would love to play. Let's play chase." The Leafeon said. So we took our places. I barely won. The Leafeon was our friend now. Just then, I saw Josh chasing an Aipom. Josh managed to take him down. I then told to the Leafeon to go to Bulbasaur. Meanwhile, David was gathering Lumber for a family of Bidoof so they can build houses on the pond. Just then, an Ambipom arrived. I challenged it to a battle and won easily. Soon, we had gathered all the berries to pass Crogunk's gate. However, he still didn't let us through. He said that any one of us had to beat him in a battle. Josh went up for it. He almost lost, if it weren't for me shouting at him to use water gun at the last second. Crogunk let us through and we saw Venosaur right in front of us and next to him was Brittany in a cage.

Part 4: Swingin' through the trees

Venosaur looked angry. Something was wrong. He was usually peaceful and docile. "Venosaur, what's the matter, you don't look happy at all." I said. "The PokePark is in peril, Emproleon wanted to rule all of the PokePark and Blaziken wanted to do the same. Our friendship is ruined all because of that." Venosaur explained. "Oh man, this is getting so complex." Brittany moaned while moving around in the cage. "Not for me!" Josh said with a laugh. "That's because you take logic." David said. "So what do we have to do to get our friend back?" David asked. "You must beat my attraction and your own record." Venosaur said.
"Let me take a shot at this." David said. "The object of this attraction is to swing as far as you can and try to beat your own record." Venosaur said. If you do, I'll give 100 berries plus a prism piece." It said. "What, a prism piece? That's what we're collecting in order to restore the PokePark." I realized. "Venosaur, one question: How many attractions are there in the PokePark?" I asked. "Well, because 14 prism pieces broke from the original, and 14 separate pokemon kept one for themselves, there are 14 attractions." It said. David was waiting patiently.

Then Venosaur led us through some trees and a vine with a long measuring device engraved in the ground was revealed. David had to get a boost from Venosaur to grab the vine. "Alright, whenever you're ready." Venosaur said. David began to swing. His swing became wider. Soon, he let go of the vine and soared in the air. He went 150ft, which was 50 more than the standard record. "Oh yeah!" David shouted. Venosaur rewarded him with 100 berries and a prism piece. "That's two down, twelve to go." I said. Venosaur then opened the cage and Brittany was free.

We then exited Venosaur's room and walked another mile.

    Part 5: The Meeting Place

After a mile, we came to the Meeting Place. There, we saw many pokemon gathered socializing and chatting. We also saw three Drifblim. Next to the three Drifblim was a Misdrevious. Behind these two shops was a giant tree. It had an already built tree house. "Oh sweet, a tree house!" Josh said. Just then, Chatot flew over us. "Hey Chatot! We've gotten the first two prism pieces. Where do we go next?" I asked.

"Ah, so it's you guys again. This is the meeting place. Just stick around for a while. But after, head down to the beach zone." Chatot said. "Where is the beach zone?" David asked. "It's beyond that gate where that Corpish is standing. Chatot replied.

    Part 6: Beach Time

So we walked to the Corpish was standing. We had to persuade it to open the gate. It finally did. We then walked a quarter of a mile and then we were walking on sand. "Is it just me, or did it get ten degrees hotter?" Brittany asked fanning herself. "Since it's the beach it is hotter than usual." Josh deduced. I then saw a Buizel walking around. "Okay, all of sudden I want to play chase right now!" Brittany said with a laugh. "Well, you can challenge that Buizel over there. He is pretty fast." I said. Brittany challenged the Buizel. It was a close race. The Buizel almost won if it weren't for Brittany getting a last draft.

David then saw Bidoof again. "Look, there's that Bidoof again." He said. "From where?" Brittany asked. "I helped him and his family build houses on the Meadow Zone Lake." David answered. David then walked up to the Bidoof. "Since there were no bridges here, I thought you guys might need some help to get to Gyrados." It said. "I'll get the lumber." David said. "I'll help David." Josh said. "What should we do." Brittany asked. "Let's go and befriend some more pokemon." I said. "Ok, we could do that." Brittany said. So we split up. The bridge was done in no time and we befriended 6 new pokemon including Spearow and Pidgiotto.

We were walking up the beach and we came across a Peliper. "What's this attraction?" I asked. "This is Peliper's Circle Circuit. Only flying type are allowed to play." The Peliper said. So we called the Pidgiotto that we befriended. It cleared its record. We then heard a roar from somewhere. I then turned and noticed Gyrados roaring angrily. I went across the bridge. "What's the matter Gyrados?" I asked. "I just wanted to be ruler of the beach zone! Emproleon won't let me and he's havin' an issue with Blaziken and Venosaur." He said furiously. "Well that explains it." I said. "In the meantime, I'll give you a prism piece if you could beat my attraction. Oh, and one more thing, you and the other Pikachu could play my attraction if you could decipher the code to my safe. It contains the equipment you'll need" Gyrados said. So we tried to decipher the code. We succeeded. In the safe were two surfboards.

    Part 7: Surfs Up!

Brittany and I took out the two surfboards and got into the water. "Watch out for the Sharpedo while surfin'. Gyrados warned. "I'll take the lead." I said. "The time to beat is 40 seconds." Gyrados said. The green light flashed and off we went. We rounded a corner and a Sharpedo charged at us. "Sharpedo to your left!" I said to Brittany. "Whoa!" She screamed as she dodged the incoming predator. We got a momentary boost from a current from behind, which pushed us ahead by five seconds. Another Sharpedo was ahead. We were able to get past it without it charging at us. We came around the final stretch and crossed the line. Our time was 35 seconds. We were awarded 100 berries and a prism piece. "Ten to go." David said.

As we walked away from Gyrados, David kicked a bottle without realizing it. "Hey, where'd that come from?" David asked. "I don't know but there's a strange thing over there that you can put it in. So we went and put the bottle in the capsule. "Where do we go next?" Josh asked. Suddenly we heard a cry from somewhere. A Laporias had just arrived. "Maybe that Laporias will know." So I walked over to the Laporias and asked it some questions. It expected us to come. "Climb on guys, and I'll take you to the next zone. So we climbed on Laporias and headed to the next zone.
