3rd Gen A QUESTION!

I have a question.

It came to my attention whilst flicking through my friends Nintendo mag that there was a pokemon challange in there. The challenge was to see if you could complete pokemon _________ (can't remember wich version) with only 1 pokemon, so i presume it ment starter pokemon.)

So I was wondering if this were possible, cause obviously the hm's will be an issue.

Yeh so if you know if this is possible on Ruby cause thats my only pokemon game im not using atm so yeh, is it possible? Ty

It's possible, and I've seen youtube videos of people doing solos challenges.

As far as HM usage goes, you catch HM slaves that never battle. As long as you have just ONE battling pokemon, the challenge is still legitimate. :P

As far as Ruby/Sapphire solo challenges in particular...I've never seen one, so I actually don't know how Tate & Liza are handled... :/

this is what hm slaves are for. ;D if they weren't allowed, you'd have a pretty tough [and annoying] challenge ahead of you.

It's not really hard to do, no. Just grab a Pokemon and go, go, go! And use HM slaves.

But something like this could have been answered on the Quick Q&A Thread.
