ok im just wondering what level i should change my scyther into a scizor to get the best of both worlds of stats. im mainly looking for speed as this is going to be a new replacement of my old slow scizor i detailed in my previous post.

im planning to level him/her to level 100 and am thinking if its worth it to just take the scyther to level 100 and then trade with the metal coat (would he evolve then or will it have to be done at level 99 for this to work) or should i just make him a scizor at around level 50?

i know this may sound like a stupid question to some but as my scizor is now starting to go second in palyer vs player battles (and having to BP agility and swords dance asap with minimal damage) if i get a high level scyther then evolve to scizor will the stats be 'reduced' from their current values if they already exceed scizors maximums (ie: scizor is slowert han scyther....will i loose the amount of speed stat from the scyther and it be lowered to trhe max of a scizor...thats what im saying...dont care bout other stats..jjuust speed)

sorry bout this if its very confusing but i hope you get the idea (those that know the answer anyways)

cheers and thanks in advance for this

Pokemon that need to be traded to evolve do so when there traded, regaurdless of level. Also, when Scyther becomes Scizor, it loses some of its speed but gains more attack power and defence.
