A sprite teacher request :)

Hello, My name is Jade and I would like someone to teach me how to make nice sprites for overworld, you know houses, nature, water etc? Thanks.

I don't know really.

It depends on whether or not you are making it a 16 or 256colour. Anyway, the main thing that I do is draw the basic shape of the overworld in paint then get the shadows in. I then draw in the detailed parts of it for a professional look. To finish I cut the Image into 16x16 pixel slices.
