Lul, I actually enjoy this one alot. o.o
This brings a great new perspective on Stantler, one of the most ignored species of pokemon.
I'm suddenly reminded of Bambi when seeing this as they look like real animals and not pokemon now.
Momma must be proud of her shiny child. :D

My first pokemon game was Crystal and my favorite pokemon from that game was Stantler. I've been in love with the deer pokemon for years. I just don't understand why such a neat pokemon is so ignored.
Oh, she is proud but freaking out because the babe sticks out. Mean ol' luxray might sneak up and eat it! Maybe thats why shinies are so rare? Luxray eats them all.....or maybe its big fattso purugly.lol.

I think packs of Mightyenas would probably be a Stantler's natural predator.
It's fun trying to set up a whole ecosystem in the pokemon world, lul.

Wow!
The shading is awsome! The color is so ... wow I can't think of what to say! The grass is cool because it's not green. (Tons of times I see only green grass. :P)

King- Hmm, that would work too. It all depends on where you live. There aren't any wolves where I love so I right away thing of mountain lions, the most common predator of deer around here.
Trying to work all pokemon into an ecosystem gives me a headache. So many animals could be represented by one pokemon. Stantler Deer, moose, Elk, Reindeer, Gazelle, blah blah blah! So many factors!! -braindead- -twitch- -drool-
Anastasia.R- Green grass is so....artificial....I can't stand it. Grass should have shades of green, brown, yellow and various other colors. I also hate when people make water blue ALL THE TIME! Reminds me of the hideous pool in the backyard. I call it a big blue eyesore. I want to paint it black,seal it and turn it into a pond for some rays or some oscars but no one seems enjoyed by that idea.
Thanks for the comments. I will try to post more art here. Even though I'm good at animals and I've spent years studying their anatomy, I rarely do digital work of them because of commissions and junk that i have to get done.
