    The bitter cold of loneliness;
    Lies dormant in the air.
    The warm embrace of love and joy;
    found neither here nor there.

    My father shouting, always mad;
    I fear for him sometimes.
    Alone, poor soul, to be taken;
    When the bell of death chimes.

    A lonely death is not for me;
    I crave love without strife.
    If no one misses me then what;
    Have I done with my life?

    Dolling out joy and calming peace;
    These are meaningful deeds.
    Life needs a purpose to live for;
    I pray, my words, you'll heed.

    It's a little bit random in my opinion. But that's just me (and my ignorance).
    But you did a good job on it's structure and rhyming.
    Well done.

    Thank you. I suppose it is a little random, but the intended meaning (I'm assuming, since I never actually have an intended meaning when I start writing) is that loneliness surrounds me and my father is constantly fighting, always mad, and that I pity him for this because it leads to a lonely life. And when you live a lonely life, you tend to not do anything worth remembering. You fade into history, just one more human being gone in a timeless line of forgotten. *shrugs* It makes sense to me anyway xD

    I really like this poem too, touching and I love the rhyme in it. You are talented :)

    Thank you, I try but I think it's more beginner's luck than talent. But I'm glad you like it~
